Toni I hate to be the one to tell you this but your father was killed two days ago. There was a kidnapping here in cove of a small girl. The orcs took her Your father went along with a group of men and women to bring her home. Toni from what I was told after they had freed the girl an orc brute attacked the party. Your father stayed behind to protect the rest of the partys retreat. When he didnt come behind them, some of them went back to find him. From there reports Toni there were Orcs everywhere and they were tearing at what appeared to be your fathers body. He Gave his life to protect that of others. Toni you should e very proud of Your Father. I know you didnt know him that well but after he Had found you. You were all he talked about. You were his little girl. He was very proud of you and what you have become.

My deepest regrets Jarvon.

Toni sat in her office staring at the letter. This clearly explained his absence as of late. She had almost...almost begun to believe Zeth, that her father was off drunk somewhere.

Although her time with him had at best been brief, she felt a sense of loss. Her entire life she had been told her father was dead, now he truly was. Her thoughts went to her son, who had grown to have a fondness for his grandfather. How was she to explain this to Niall? And what of her brother? Did he already know as well? She would find out what Zeth knew of this if anything at all.

She recalled her father's pet name for her, "Baby girl." How she disliked being called that. Yet now it she felt a sense of regret realizing she would get her wish, he would not be calling her that again. A solitary tear slowly slipped down her cheek and landed on the letter.

She rolled the letter carefully and tied a gold ribbon around it, and placed it in her drawer. She lowered her head to her folded hands and sat in silence, trying to think of how she would break this news to Niall.
