I've had 2 or 3 serious complaints about the "humping bananas" (not from Audrina surprisingly Razz

). I wondered if everyone else thought it was a harmless emote, or if perhaps it should be removed?

I think it depends on a few things. Are the bananas both men? did they date before 'doing the deed' or is this a pay for sex thing?

Ok seriously, I would not consider this something I would put on my to do list, but since it has been brought up by people in the community I would have it removed for sexual content.

While it is just an emoticon of fun, I would suggest the removal because when there are 2 or 3 serious complaints it negatively affects people. There might be a few more who don't like that emoticon but are silent.

Definite "remove" from me. My Hoots and Hollas post was jokingly serious (if you can wrap your head around that).

It's funny to see for a few seconds, a time or two, but more than that and becomes flat-out disturbing. If it were a bit more subtle, it would be ok, but the animation and visual "surprise" on the faces of the bananas is...unsettling.

i'd say remove it which is how i voted. yes it is done in fun, but you do have to remember not everyone that reads these boards is likely over 18.

Just make sure they are legit complaints and not just a couple people who dont like Chas and Vaen, since they are the ones, at least that ive seen, that use them the most.

If they are actual real complaints, id still feel odd about removing them simply cause 2-3 out of like 100 users or more dont like them.

As history shows, it often takes only a couple brave souls to finally 'speak out' about an issue for many more to make their feelings known. I certainly havn't shared before my thoughts about the bananas.

This is hardly epic enough to be likened to something like...The Reformation, but you get the drift. I'm not going to champion some movement to get the emoticons removed, but I think you'll be surprised how many people dont "like" the bananas.

Personally I don't like it and was suprised that it was a built in. But a lot of people used it so I figured I must be a prude or something for not liking it. *laughs*
