(Said in normal tone because ehh whatever lol)

Um...not sure what you implying but we didnt use gates. We actually tore down the barricade and slaughterd the four defenders there. It wasnt that hard to tear down a two square thick wall with nothing to really defend it....

Gates???? They arn't allowed in wars. (edited because vaen already wrote a reply to that and ill let him handle it)

I did not say you used gates.

I said Roger did not know how you could move an army from one position to another without the scouts knowing about it.

I said Roger thought that if you used gates it could be done. He simply did not know how you did it. Nor did I.

I did not say Vaen smiled at any time.

I did not put words in Vaen's mouth.

I said Vaen "sighed happily" that it was good to be home again.

I saw him say it was good to be home again while your troops were gathered after the battle and during your speech to them.

I did assume he "sighed happily" at the time he said it was good to be home again. I could be wrong about how happy he was at the time he said it. If so, then I apologize for that.

That line infers me sighing happily over the murder of noncombatants.

To avoid further confusion, just please ask to use me in your posts in the future, no matter how small. Dabu, sir!

It's all good.

EDIT

I originally locked this topic, but after further review, I was in error.

Please be cautious about discussing personally addressed questions in public. If there is a problem between you and someone in particular, there are many private mediums such as PM, ICQ and mediators available to you.

Roger Dodger...your a man with us in cause.

Taro, we've talked on this "personal interp." and it can be explained with that. Thanks for it!

Vaen has a point...a perfectly placed comma, or period could have settled the issue.

Cein is right your sig blows. We'll all work on a good one...lol.

Still love what has happened and the little bit of potential drama was stomped out privately. Let's keep that up and keep with the simplist approach of character perception. It's all been good so far...

...be cool if we could get a rate system for posts...5 thumbs ups...3 thumbs down...but thats another post in another space and time.

Oh dear lord no, no rating system. Other forums come with that "built-in popularity contest" but it ends up doing nothing but making people wench and moan when they get ONE thumbs down, and potentially spark threads where people demand to know why they got bad votes, which degrades into the same ol' BS we know and hate with a passion.

Also, just goes to show: Get permission when including someone else in an IC post, in any way shape or form. You can seriously stand to wait an extra few hours or day until they get back to you. And no, it isn't possible to bite someone through ICQ, so you are really safe, just do it.

I know that there are still tons of people afraid to ICQ me over little things regarding Stratics, so I know firsthand how annoying it is to have people make assumptions and go above, below, and around me to find things out when they could just ASK ME, which takes a good 30 seconds if I'm here.

Everyone should know that Erickson Yates is the best involving Stratics. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Also, don't say stuff for other people without their permission. Also, Vaen is like chocolate cake. He is bad for you, but you can't resist taking a bite.
