Laying in the bedroom of the recently built house that Morio had commissioned, he sighed, the light coming through the paper screens casting the room in a soft twilight. Judging on how tired he still felt it must have been an hour or so since both he and Haydn had finally fallen asleep, turning to his side lay Haydn, her features on her face softened with sleep but a smile of contentment across her lips.
Morio spooned her an allowed his current thoughts to mill around inside his head.
"A father... me.... I guess am still shocked that she consented so soon to carry my child...."
Sighing again his thoughts soon turned to the present problem... the Harrowers tentacle...
"The Sage Master better have of come up with a way to unbond her from it, else my child will be bonded also.... I will have to have a word with him next time I see him, I can't really send him a letter... I wonder if a muddy paw print on a piece of parchment would suffice.... Proberly not, he wouldn't understand its meaning...."
Sighing again he turned his attention to Haydn. Stroking her side softly as he closed his eyes and tried to drift off to sleep, his last though drifting through his mind...
"Lest the nightmeres have stopped...."

The Sepulcher's reach was far in the back of Malikhia's mind as the halls of Hythloth unfolded about him. The searing hot walls surrounding his steps encased his mind in a rarely understood comfort. Though with comfort, did not bring ease.

Thought buzzed about in his mind like the sparking and crackling of what he held most dear. The Old Pyroliche's mind refused to rest with so much threatening Umbra.

"Possession..." He spoke quietly to himself as he strode past Imps, their forms igniting and burning out like the shell of a dieing phoenix in his wake.

The idea the Warmaster had brought to the table. An idea that seemed the only feasible option, since the girl's death had been ruled out.

A powerful spirit would be needed to combat the Will of Khal Ankur... A powerful spirit willing and under their control.

His mind grasped the idea, but struggled for an answer. He could not seem to place the answer he so desperately needed.

"Fire..." Another Imp burst into wings of inferno. "A spirit of fire would kill the girl..."

This spirt had to be something that would touch the bond, and not her soul. An ally... A friend.

Lord Barl would likely be able to aid his decision.

His eyes closed as the flapping of tiny wings and the chattering of teeth slowly closed in about him, the families of the fallen diverging upon him.

He extended his arms and naught but bone and ash remained.

"I really should learn how to treat guests in my home." With a smirk, he was off back to Umbra. A home always second to his heart.

Sighing loudly Morio raised his voice to the armourer
"You will get the suit ready, I will come to collect it within two weeks, if it is not ready and to the specification that I have asked for then I will take my money and go else where, do I make myself clear?"
The Armourer just nodded... "It shall be ready sir...."
"Good, I am spending a great deal of gold here and I like to get what I pay for."
With that Morio left the shop, shaking his head.... frustrated beyound belief. Once more he went to Britain west side bank, he had not only the cub to prepare for but also for the bonding once the SageMaster had done his part to rid Haydn of that thing...

Sitting down on the grass he tried to settle down before he could siphon off the energy from the emotions of the traders and buyers, Not only did the confrontation get him agitated but he could not feed if he himself wasn't in complete control of his own emotions. Sighing once more and noticing his stomach making some growling noises, getting up again he took out his rune book and casted the spell to recall where there was a ready supply of food,
Once he had reverted it took half a second or two to shake off the feeling of the recall, nodding to himself he had arrived at the location he wanted, the Kingdom of Sanctus.
Stalking through the trees he spotted his prey, but this time there was about twenty of them in a group, Pixies. With speed he aimed and shot all twenty, bagging the bodies he made his way out of the trees, one of the pixies had followed him and casted a paralize spell at him, frozen there in the middle of the road the pixie casted another spell, this time it was a flamestrike. Smoking slightly and feeling some of his skin burn he used some of his energy to heal the affect area, as the burn disappeared the paralize spell had released its hold, taking aim he shot the pixie, due to the close proximity to a tree, the nearest tree to the road the bolt went through and got stuck in the tree, with the pixie's body hanging on the shaft of the bolt. Morio walked over to the bolt and instead of pulling it out and bagging the pixie, he took out another bag, loaded it with about fifty or so coins and tied that to the shaft. Chuckling to himself he spoke to the dead pixie.
"There that should pay for the food.... See you around..."

With that he Recalled to his house, waiting for the senceastion to pass he made his way through the house and to the sitting room, there he perpared the pixies for his and Haydn's tea....

Haydn entered the house and plopped down, tired after a long day. Who'd have known that paperwork could be so damned tiring! Ever since the unbelievable decline of the Matriarch's health she had been stuck handling all the estate and official matters of Umbra. If only Myrddin didn't hate paperwork...

She sniffed the air.. a delicious aroma came wafting from the kitchen. Licking her lips hungrily, she got up and went into the other room. A plate of pixies greeted her. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until now.

Later that night, tummy full of cooked pixie goodness, Haydn gave Morio a proper "Thank you" for cooking dinner.
