Haydn shrugged the initial pains off as indigestion. Bodies lay strewn on the ground, her and Morio had had their fill for the eve. She had never dined on meer before, but Void, there was a first time for everything.

Okay, that last pain was a bit harder..

So maybe this wasn't indigestion at all. Maybe she ought to accept that Morio was right, and it really was time for the cub to come.

Together, she and Morio headed to Umbra, taking brief rests during the labor pains. There must be someone that could help them. Morio had no idea about this sort of thing, it didn't exactly fit into tactics and battle commands.

As they walked through Umbra, seeking someone to help them, Haydn thought back to earlier...

The sight of Sy-wen had sent Haydn on immediate edge. Just being in the same room with the woman who had caused so much trouble during the past week when her mother had died had been enough to make Haydn's blood boil. She decided to be direct with Sy-wen, thinking confrontation might enlighten the trouble maker.

Oh how wrong she was.

Sy-wen had this annoying way of laughing off serious matters and commands that made Haydn just want to pull her bow out and... well, no need to go into detail, I'm sure you get the picture.

So Haydn warned her to stay away from her child. But, that only brought more threats from the woman. Her parting remark about the sire of Haydn's baby almost had Morio on her heels.

Agitated, the kitsunes had gone hunting for food to work off their anger.

Now, situated comfortably in a bed (or as comfortably as a woman in the throws of labor can be made), Haydn endured the womanly pains as she waited for a first glimpse of her baby.

But, that was to end in sadness. Ciara brought forth the first kit, a girl. Sadly, the babe was still born. Ciara handed the tiny kitsune to her father as Haydn's cry of pain alerted them all to the coming of a second cub.

When the second little cub had emerged into the world, Ciara was relieved to inform them all that the boy was healthy. Haydn's sadness over the loss of the first cub was dampened by her love for the second little kitsune.

They named him Iruka to honor the child that had been killed accidentally by Morio. It was this accident that had caused Morio's banishment from Tokuno. If it had never occurred, Haydn would never have met him.

More of Morio's constant sharing of energy helped to heal Haydn, so she could walk. Transforming to her foxlike form, she bit down on the scruff of Iruka's neck to carry him to the Sepulcher. Together, she and Morio made their peace with poor little Akane, the lost cub. They pushed her gently into the pit to join the lost Matriarch.

"Keep my mother company, little one..."

It was the movement on the bed that jolted Morio awake, looking up he searched for the source, then he spotted it, the bundle of white fur... Iruka had triedto get through the door, growling softly and leaving Haydn to sleep, he gets up and picks the young cub by the scruff of the neck. Walking down to the garden he places Iruka on the grass and sits and waits for the young Kitsune to do his business.
Once the cub had finished he ran round and pounced on Morio's back with a High pitched *Kitsu* bark. Chuckling Morio fell and played with the cub, not worried about his biting and clawing Morio softly batted the cub with his paws. This only made the cub more excited.
Morio jumped up and ran to the other side of the garden and was ready in a playful pounce, Iruka on the other hand decided to dig in the garden. Morio barked to get the cubs attention and the cub ran at morio and tried to go for his neck, laughing Morio walked back to the teleporter with Iruka hanging from his neck, once on the top floor Iruka dropped onto the wooden deck walked to the door, Morio opened the door for the cub and when it was just slightly open the cub jumped into the bed and curled up round his mother, shutting the door with his tail Morio sank down into the bed and licked the cub on his head and making sure he was clean.

Thinking back to the pervious day alot had happened... I was at a lost as to what to do! it was a good job Ciara was around.
As for that Sy-wen... If she comes near Iruka she will fully understand what an angery Kitsune is capable of thats for sure...

Licking the Cub again and then giving Haydn afew tender licks Morio closed his eyes, but keeping aware for what ever Iruka might do next.
