Hey Hal,

First, I love what you've done with the boards. The MSWord addon and everything you do is awesome.

One thing I would like to see implemented, baring that it isn't too much work (you do enough as it is), is something I've seen on other boards. When you start to write a post, sometimes there are new posts by the time you hit submit. Keep in mind, this only pertains to the current thread you are writing in, not other threads or newly created threads. What this addon does is check for that, and say "Hey, look, there's this post here, you can read it before submitting the post you just wrote if you want." It's a nice little addon. It also works for post edits.

Are the other forums you've seen it on phpbb based? I can't seem to find the mod for phpbb on phpbb's site or on phpbbhacks.

Yep! It's actually the HOT boards that has it enabled.

I'll search around for it. It may be a different version, in which case it will need to wait until I'm done with the "secret project" I've been coding in my spare time. If I can adapt it to this version easily, I'll do my best to implement it.
