It was no matter of importance that held her gaze this day. A little thing did pass her way and hold her tightly in its grasp. She walked soflty thru the city of Winds and had come to stop within the bedroom that had once belonged to Gia Trevigne. Gia her sister so long gone, so long dead still haunted her. She was lost and unsure of herself and all that she had known and loved.. she was afraid. Afraid that she could protect them no more than Gia. Afraid to lose the ones she loved, her friends, lovers, acquaintances, she had already lost so much.

Shining on the floor just beneath the foot of the bed lay a little girls locket, swiftly marked iwth the intials GT. Aryanna held it in her hand cradling it as if it were a precious babe. She brought the precious locket to her lips kissing it marking it with despair. Then, her hands trembling as she placed it around her neck she turned and left the room. She headed down into the families wine cellar. There were so many days she had spent hanging from chains, her arms stretched tight as she was whipped and beaten by her cruel mother and her mothers sadistic lover.

There she had known pain and agony for so long and it had plagued her. All of the beatings had been in the name of her little sister who had died so young, eventually sucumbing to the beatings as well. Yet a six year old could not survive the whippings Aryanna had and so Gia had been lost...

What a tragic waste it had all been. Finally grief had consumed her and Aryanna crawled into her dark prison pulling the lid tight and her eyes shutting. How fitting, how ironic that she would rest here now. Slipping deeply into the sleep of the undead her eyes framed by thick lashes a stray tear slipping from them. She was sorry so very sorry but it was time...
