They had set out from Umbra, and journeyed safely thru it to the cave. They were nervous and the walk from Umbra into Sanctus is not one a mortal should have to endure. Never were they so happy to see the gentle rise of Castle Blackguard, the safety of the well known Hanses Hostel. They would stop here for the night.

The next morning they rose, ate and feeling of good spirits assembled by the stable yard. The animals were antsy and ready to go. The guards had stern impatient expressions as the Mina guided her Pack Llama behind the captain. They waited as the Captain poured over maps for their heading and finally at last gave the cue to Move out.



So they began their journey:



They moved with haste, the captain and guards having to fend off a band of brigands but still things went well and they walked with ease towards the safety of Luna.

The white bridge loomed up the abyss beneath it and they crossed it easily. Yet, the ambush was swift
they didnt even see them coming and Mina was cut down fast her body tumbling to the ground.
The entire caravan slaughtered..



The assasins fled the blood and gore and moments to late, Orelen and Myrddin arrived to recall the Caravan news on their lips that someone was out to harm Nightshade.

But it was to late:


They surveyed the carnage looking for clues but there were few and soon had no choice but to search out Nightshade and tell her the news:
