*Writen in what looks to be the writing of an elderly man*

To whomever may find this this letter (though from the looks of things that is unlikely),

I recently returned to my home town of Rivendell. Anxious on my journey back to find what I had left behind many years ago. I have now arrived and find a ghost town. Merely the remains of a great city of the past. The tavern looks to have been burnt down and the towns people are...well there are none. I am looking for friends of old and a cause worth the effort of my old age. I still have quite a few battles left in my legs and wish to find the happiness I once found in the town of Rivendell.

Checking on her house in Rivendell she wanders into the Halfing. She sees what looks to be a fresh piece of parchment among the dust and broken dishes on the bar. She is drawn to it and smiles recognizing the writing though it has been many years since she has seen it.

She pulls out a quill and inkwell and turns the note over to respond.
