Alaundril,

I wish an audience with you to discuss some matters that have come to my attention. It is imperative that you comply, failure to do so, may cause some distress to certain family members.

I await your reply.

Kal'iksix
Matron Mother

P.S. Your fair daughter is lovely. I see so much of you in her. I wonder if others will see it too??

The Shadowmancer returned to the Shadowhall after his regular patrol of the southern borders of the Stonegate Kingdom. He found several messages awaiting him in his box. He sighed, going through them with a bored look on his face. It took him a few moments to recognize the spider, and his eyes widened slightly as he finished the message it carried.
"The Ilharess has returned it seems. And more bold than before."
He scowled at the spider, a bad taste in his mouth from the Matron's thinly veiled threats. He hastily penned a reply...

Matron,
I will send my servant Mr. Narshan to fetch you. We will meet here at Shadowhall. I take from your wording that you have met Felyn. I suppose you weren't slain by your Queen in the Abyss. Do you desire so to die by my hands so much that you openly make threats to my children? One of which is a loyal servant to you, but I can assure you the older brother will not let harm come to his younger sibling. Even if that means defying your power. If you hurt her, there will be more than my wrath to contend with. Many know her and like her, and I would hate to tell them that a Drow Matron had harmed her.
You expect me to walk into the Quarter after you issue threats? You have a strange definition of diplomacy...next time, try leaving my family out of it and I may be more agreeable.
I will send Mr. Narshan this evening to provide transport to my new home here in the north. That is the only way we are to meet.

-Alaundril Do'Rhett-

He scowled at the spider and handed the scroll sealed with the crimson :S: it. "Now begone, before I squash you..." He made an impatient gesture at the little thing, waving it away and finished going through his reports and messages that had arrived over the last few days.

Kal'iksix smiles cooly even though her blood was boiling as the servent read the old drow's response. She quickly penned her reply.

Alaundril,
Do you honestly think I would have direct involvement to the harm that would befall your family??? The "Organization" is not as depleted as you may think. I'm sure they would love to find you to catch up on old times. Perhaps you should discuss this with your great Masked One. I am sure he would love to know of what you've been up to. Then again, I think you may notice a slight change in his demeanor.

If you are so cowardly to sent your servant to bring me to you, tonight would be fine. Although the cowardness is no surprise to me and from talking with your daughter is not so much out of your character. Though I wonder what gift can I bless her and her mate with on their union??? I'm sure she I and I will get along wonderfully just to spite you.

Till this evening,
The Matron

Kal'iksix dismissed the servant to deliver the message and set fire to his reply while holding it in her hand. "Foolish old Drow! He has NO CLUE who he is dealing with now!" she chuckled to herself.
