So I was doing some reading on theoretical geometry and fractal mathematics (as I do from time to time) and i came across some fractal thread equations, and realized that was how Dealth's "Eyes of the Void" saw the universe. The concept stuck in my head, along with some of the RP thats been going on in/around Umbra.

The concept of adding the visual to the story was something I did on a whim.

The Unraveling

Comments? Critiques? Were the visuals too much/unneeded?

I really enjoyed seeing what he saw. Each picture you put with what was going on in his mood/thought. They really complimented and fit the mood of the story well. As it progressed, they did also, shifting to match what he sensed.

I myself am an absolute fiend for anything fractal. I've lost count how many programs I've used to render flames and variations of Apo I've downloaded.

With this said, I loved the post.

I didn't like them only because the pictures were too big for my amazingly poor internet! Evil or Very Mad

I only saw one, but that was pretty super cool. Didn't read the story or anything, though.

Any post with a picture in it is double in awesome. I liked the designs because they went with the story and were visually pleasing. Never seen that sort in a post before so double points for uniqueness.
