The King of Sanctus sat astride his charger atop the Eastern Gate of Luna, keeping counsel with his own thoughts as the defenders made ready for the coming battle.


"A senseless battle. Pride against pride. Honor bound to an old friend against a new ally. Exactly what the Lich Lord wants. He smiles atop his throne as his enemies slaughter one another senselessly.

He gently ran his mailed fingers through the pink ribbon adorning Ice's hilt. His daughter's, Desirae. Dead at the hands of the Lich Lord, like so many other wives, daughters, husbands, fathers.

The drums of war sounded from the East, yet his heart looked to the Southeast....to Umbra.
