So right now there's very few serious replies in the thread. There's one frack who wants to make Luna-Bank-Plus, and Assia and myself who put effort into trying to engage what needs to be done. So this is an opportunity for us. Yeah, we could say in the past EMs just did nothing for RPers and would just spawn paragon dark fathers, we could be upset how this whole tower thing is being handled. But if we don't even try, what does that say? Does that give us any right to complain when RPers don't get anything cool in the future? Seriously people, she asked for suggestions. Let's at the very least suggest things in the Stratics thread. If not about a mage tower, then about how to improve old community centres to make them more appealing to use.
>Stratics thread is here<
So many of you have awesome imaginations and great ideas, let's show the EM team what we can come up with! |

I have so little time now because of the coming election. I wish I had seen this sooner, or that someone had contacted me.
Phoenix/Beleth, thank you for pushing forward on the mage tower proposal.
I have to say, it is funny how history repeats itself. Did you guys know that the original Atlantic Mage Tower caused quite a controversy? It was a tower that was placed in Trinsic originally, and "relocated" to a spot on Moonglow where a Tower cannot fit naturally. Not only that, but having a large brick floating on the water with vendors that made the upper ranks of AMT rich - well, that enraged quite a few people. Not that it mattered. Fairness back then had nothing to do with gameplay, or whether or not the GMs/Devs did something. But even in spite of all that, community thrived at AMT.
I still care deeply for Sosaria, and Atlantic. I still care about what happens in this community, and I still kick in that monthly $13, though it could be buying me four extra yard signs. Sometimes, I deeply regret that moment on top of the Moonglow bank when I had to make a choice between continuing to run MTC or becoming Keeper of the Stone and the AMT Tower. When the Tower fell, I was heartbroken.. so much history gone and nothing could even come close to replacing it. I'm sure it sounds corny and ridiculous, but as a mage, perhaps the last mage of the tower... that flame going out.. Yeah. That hurt. I spent half a decade trying to get them to do something to fix it, to at least, at minimum restore the Eternal Flame of Mages. I begged and pleaded with Sannio, Zilo, Draconi and any other dev I could gain the ear of to restore it. Even got some promises that they would. Never did.
GreyPawn ain't dead, let's just say that he's trying his hand at something beyond Mayor of Moonglow in "another" world, wearing a different kind of blue. But I, and the rest of the Mages, would very much appreciate if you guys kept the Eternal Flame in mind as you move forward on the community center project, whatever shape or form it may take. It would mean alot.
