A cool breeze blew the sheer curtains that draped the four poster bed. Her body was covered in blackened silk sheets. A storm was brewing outside as the rain pounded the stone of the balcony that laid a few feet from the sleeping women.

A low light candle was all that could be shown from with in the dark room. Lucian watched her most nights as the dawn crept closer to his side as he knew he soon would need to rest.
On this night he came earlier and light several candles and had her music box playing lowly in the background. Her hand twitched at the sound of the music. Lucian began to grin as her movement stirred her till her eyes opened in a iced blue gaze. She stretched her pale long body as she sat up. Her gaze never left Lucian's gaze she stood in a regal manor as the black sheets slide from off her and revealed a crimson strapless dress. She moved slowly and erotically toward him and gripped his wrist and bit into it and drank from him and pulled her head back then licked his wound clean and spun herself around allowing his arms to embrace her midsection.

The Le'Morte Families Mother had awoken.

Her head rested on his stone chest as her hair cascaded off his shoulder as they rested during the day. She could hear the shift change of the blood guard out side the resting chambers and this stirred her as the sun kissed the sky goodnight. She rose and carefully slipped from him and watched him shift his position as she moved. She tip toed to the door and the guard saluted her and she nodded she made her way to Lucian's office where a roaring fire was a blazed. More for looks then for anything else. Her finger tips ran across the spines of the books behind his chair till they touched a black leather bound book with Gold lettering on it "Le'Morte", She plucked it from its resting place and sat at the desk opening it.


She began writing.


Day 18 of the 10th month


I have been awake for a short time and already I grow angry with the mortals that plague the world. I am trying to control my blood rages and keep myself fully stoked on fresh meals so the urge to feed stays clear from my mind. Lucian has been awake near a century longer then myself and he seems to have grown softer then I recall before I slept this last time. I miss his anger and aggression. The night of my embrace will be a memory I will hold close to me were I saw his true power. "her gaze moves to the flickering flames and soft music fills her head and his low growl in her ear" She shook her head free from the thoughts and a smile crept across her face.
Back to why I am writing. The meeting with the Drow lastnight proved to be be a useful but dull deal for us. I understand why Lucian feels the need to do what hes doing, but I find it to beneath him to strike arrangements with those of lesser worth then what we are.


"The door pushes open and drops of link hit the pages and she sets the quill down and closes the book. He kisses her neck good evening" Morning Love, he whispers in her ear. She grins a playful grin.

Lucian walked into the room where she awoke, looking upon her as she arose from her casket. What a beautiful Mother he thought, so beautiful. She gazed upon his eyes looking up at him. Softly Lucian kissed her neck, "Good evening my Queen". She looked like she needed to feed, Lucian could tell from her color. "I know you think that I am alittle soft with these lesser mortals, and I can tell its been bothing you night after night, but i assure you that we do need their assistance. Drayden can have some very good uses but I did not like the tone he took with you so I corrected him in his place. Most of these mortals don't understand that we are all kindred, we don't see each other as Male or Female as they see themselves as. Blood is Blood, and it runs throu us all the same way. When you become a bit older you will understand why I am doing and what must be done".She listend to Lucian as he went on about the Masqurade and all its Kindred, and why the Vampires would work with mortals. She knew Lucian was right but in her own sence for now, it was all just too much above him, but she smiled placed her hand into his hand, and under the soft lit candle Lucian called upon his Blood Guard to bring in a mortal that was captured that same night to watch his beloved Queen drink and compose herself for the long night of duties ahead of herself, as she fed Lucian was pleased how well she would take them, almost putting them at ease before the final heartbeat would stop. Feeding is an art to her, Lucian thought to himself and thought what a strong vampire she could become.
Lucian thought to himself as he watched her feed;

The night is yours love to tame, you are the Queen Mother of this Order, and the children need you near, so much can become of you and the nights will make you dear. Mortals will bow before you, and give their lively blood. Battles will hardend you, as the mortals take their fall. The Night is still young, and the Kindred will all sing. The Order will love you, and proclaim this is our Queen.
