Personality: He is cheerful, and usually smiling and happy to have idle conversation with anyone. He is Fae, and raised far from humans, so his comments and actions occasionally seem as rude, callus and confusing as humans are to him.
Age: Unknown to the world at large
He was born in the winter, but the exact date is presumed lost.
Years ago it was found that under the 'modern' calender he was born in the year 177 BC, and his age was found using basic math. Sense then he would usually add one to that sum every year (if he remembers). But he has spent a significant amount of time in realities where time moved slower, if at all, so his real age is undoubtedly more then he claims. However, when asked how many years he has really been alive, he has said on the record he hadn't reached 3000. (For a sense of perspective: he also stated on the record that he invented flyswatters, is responsible for the creation of the Johlem fighting pits, is a licensed dentist, designed the dungeon Despise, replaced all of his blood with sawdust, ...)


History:
Throughout history James been seen on many worlds of the multiverse, observing humanity. Between a few legends of rabbit "gods" with a tendency to be drunk, a few urban legends, to a strange centuries old wood carving of a man with rabbit ears running a crooked shell game, it is safe to say he has been noticed, though history at large is pretty much uninterested (there are plenty of stranger things)
Despite having been around them for a long time (though of course not constantly), he doesn't seem to be any closer to understanding mortals.

Modern:
This pooka is a household deity-or a domestic sprite as he perfers to be called-a spirit that serves a household or family (namely the de Winter family), usually in the form of house cleaning (a task he greatly enjoys). He does do a lot in his spare time is an accomplished wizard specializing in travel magics, a moonshiner, an emissary, a seller of questionable pharmaceuticals, and a high priest of the Alyssian Church.
He calls one of the Sosarias home, living in a freehold next door to his best friend, with his beloved wife, Luna, and their children. But he also travels the multiverse, annoying the inhabitants and bumming free drinks. Why he goes to one world and not another is not officially known, but he does tend to show up on ones that a de Winter is living on.
