As Ari stood at the sink washing the dishes after the usual evening meal, it happened. Ryu! It's time! a white china plate smashed to the floor with a crash, down it went with her husband, who at the sight of just a little blood passed out cold on the kitchen floor. Ari gathered her wits and made for the front door of the house to call for the local medic or a healer to help her. Hands placed on her stomach she calls out into the woods.. The Baby is coming! Help!

Before long a multitude of help came to her, unfortunately for Ari it was not the help she expected or wanted. An Orc, A half Cat half human girl and a couple wandering drunks came to assist. Ari made it as far as the side of the the cottage before the labor pains were more then she could handle. Like it or not, the infant was coming now.

The Orc placed a blue Moonglow cloak under her and brought hot water to clean Ari's face. Despite Ari's smart comments and lack of cooperation the orc remained to help her. "Go away you filthy creature, I would rather die then have you help me"! Ari hissed. The half cat licked her paws in amusement as she watched the mayors wife suffer in pain.. She had her own reasons for disliking Ari. " if that tail is in your way I'd be happy to cut it off for you!" rang in her ear.

Ari slips in and out of consciousness as the world seems to be spinning around her, "not now" she kept saying to herself. When she woke the crowd had gotten larger then before.. Ryu now standing next to his wife was holding a small crying baby' It's a Boy! he said with a proud smile holding the infant like a trophy.. The onlookers cheered, To Moonglow!

Ari was then carried to her bedroom to recover by the candlelight,.. Something however was not right..As the party was going on outside Ari gave birth to a very small very quiet little girl the infant did not cry or or make a sound. Ari took the infant into her arms and made a promise to her. "I'll protect you my girl" You are not like your strong brother, you will know the ways of Humanis, the Gods spared you a birth in front of impure creatures. As the night went quiet and her babe slept she penned a letter to Bella of Magincia. Ari perhaps making the most difficult decision any new mother could make.
