The Voyage home was long and cold. The seas were unforgiving. As Silmadil stood on the bow of the ship that took him away from the only place he has ever called home. Along with his guardian Kotare, they both stood watching as the shore of home apeared on the horizon.

They steped off the docks and set foot on solid ground for the first time in months. "Home, the one place I tried to escape but never could." Kotare said with a hint of sarcasam. Silmadil only had one thing on his mind, to see his sister Isilmea. He had a feeling for some time that something was wrong but not sure what it was. Kotare placed his hand on his ward's shoulder. Come, lets get you home. After stoping at the bank for needed items such as Kotare's old runebooks and a few reagents, he opened a gate to the palace and in an instant, both were standing before what remained of Asur' Herenion. Silmadil stood with shock and horror for what seemed like an eternity.

Kotare's reaction was slightly more intuned to reality as he had seen this once before with his own kingdom. Without hesitation he readied a few spells to protect his ward and then he entered the ruined palace to check it. Once Silmadil entered, he could only fight back the tears so much. None of the elves remained in the once proud palace. Kotare looked around but saw little clues as to the cause. Looking back, Silmadil's emotion turned to focusing on the search for his sister. Deep down inside he knew something was terribly wrong but wanted to hide it from all thought. He knew his sister was very strong willed but, as strong as she was, he knew she was in danger.

Soon after a futile search of the premises. Kotare offered Silmadil a few supplies and told him to go to his place of sanctuary. He knew Silmadil wouldn't go right away, but knew that he was capable of handling himself. Kotare then set off to find his own answers.

Silmadil bid him farwell but didn't go right away. After a few hours of searching around some more, a visitor apeared. It was another elf. One that was vaguely remembered from his memory. Suprised to she her prince returned, Yavie quickly led him away from the palace and took him to a new location. She led him to Alexander, King of Asur'Herenion. As they spoke, Silmadil learned of his sister's fate. With more answers came more questions and confusment as to what had happened. It was decided that he should be protected from his great grandfather until the time was right to make his return known. He went to the one place he could to find hope. Sanctuary...
