An ancient family learned in the ways of the Necromancer, The Family Vael was very proud. From its ranks, many great necromancers had been born.

Our story begins with three siblings, Madelain (the oldest) Lisette (the middle child) and Xander, (the youngest son). The three children were close, until Xander, married an unwanted woman, who hated Necromancy and had quite the historied background in the way's of the paladin. This eventually lead to a rift between Xander and the rest of the family. Ironically he became the *black sheep*.

He and his wife gave birth to a baby girl, which he christened Evenna, after the Eventide, the exact moment each day when the day fades to night. The Eventide was believed by his people to be a moment of balance and power in all things eternal.

Evenna grew up in a happy, and safe home and was raised in the ways of the Holy Templars, clinging to their beliefs. She was an agile swordswoman and one of the best in her class. A noble and loyal woman, with a fierce lust for battle.

Both of her parents died in battle at a young age and she soon turned to follow their legacy. Quickly learning the ways of the Templar. She never married, deciding to follow the highest path of her people, which required Celibacy, and was highly revered among her peers.

All went well for this young paladin until that fateful day, when she faced down her own family in battle, the Vael's had taken up the opposite cause. Surprised, and having been told little of her family history by her father, the young paladin panicked and was knocked unconcious in the heat of battle. This was believed to change the coarse of the battle and many of Evenna's friends lost thier lives. She awoke within the cell of a jail. Her own peers who once revered her, hated her, and she was sentenced to death by beheading.

Scorned by her own family for the blight of Chivalry upon her soul, they turned their eyes away from her plight. Outcast by the order she loved dearly, Evenna summoned the last of her courage and walked proudly to her death. It was at the moment of the Eventide, that her head was cleaved by axe from her restless body and she whispered a curse upon her lips before her final breath.

It is this curse that caused her restless spirit and left her to roam upon the land, until many years later when a new generation of Vael's, more open minded in their beliefs cast the spell to resurrect her from the grave. For what purpose is not yet known.

Evenna is not the same, insanity at her core. Quickly throwing out her old ways she now follow's her own cause, for she no longer had anything to lose. She has returned a wild glutton for fun and pleasure, with a lust for death and battle quite unmatched.

The Dark Templar walks again....twisted forevermore.
