I can't believe I'm still lurking this site almost 20 years later.

This past Friday was 19 years ago that I made my original account here.

Thank you for keeping it running. Thank you for preserving the stories.

I spent my teenage years in a very isolated rural area. During that time, the ARPC was my only social outlet, and more real to me than the real world. The characters we met, the adventures we had, the events we took part in, the real life friendships made and lost along the way.. all of it influenced me greatly and helped shape who I would later become, and still means as much to me as anything I've done since "growing up" and moving on in life. Being able to come back here, all this time later, is like having a picture of a childhood home and family that was left behind in another country, never to be seen again except in memory, sometimes questioning whether it ever existed or was just a dream.

It wasn't a dream. I love and miss you all, wherever you are.

I can't believe the forum still works after all these years. I got a wild hair up my butt to play regular UO on official servers again and this place holds so many great memories and friends that I made over a decade ago.
