I had been thinking about this for abit, but I noticed I've never really seen any posting for shard accepted or recommended guidlines for roleplaying an undead character. It's obvious that this is a very open ended 'race' so a "how to" probably isn't appropriate

If noone minds, am I ok to post a some general guidelines for the race?

The problem is that there are so many different types of Undead it's almost impossible to ome up with any guidelines.

Skeletons, Zombies, etc. etc. Things people make up, the list goes on.

Exactly.....but a few basic principals apply, or i could explain the types maybe?

There really isnt a general basic principle you can say for them as a whole and the explination for a good amount of undead varies. As long as they know the difference between a zombie and a skeleton and a lich and so on they should be fine. There are undead in uo that they can read up on or watch to get some pointers as well a lot of material they can access easily.

I mean you could try but it might turn out either too general or too specific on a few undead things
