The corrupted forest gave off a cool breeze late in the afternoon, pulling back the curtain for entropy's grandest of performances. Admoreth and Zh'Azhak waited in front of Charnel Hill for the rest of the cult to arrive, both well aware of the large step they would take this eve. As time passed, Kuja arrived.

"Our journey has been long and trying, yet tonight is the final step." Zh'Azhak spoke, his lips barely noticable beneath his cowl. "We shall prepare a pyre for Oblivion, as the former order did in days long passed." Zh'Azhak stopped, then looked to Admoreth. "And the decided city is...?"

"Moonglow, the southern tip." Admoreth spoke raspily, looking to his right arm.

"Has it faired well?" Zh'Azhak asked, looking to the arm.

"Well enough... I attempted arcane remedies, but healing has never been a strength of mine." Admoreth replied, his eyes paling slightly.

Zh'Azhak nodded, then recited an incantation that opened a moongate to Moonglow, from which the trio departed for the southern tip.

Admoreth stopped in front of a small clearing that overlooked the slight incline that lead to the water, and nodded to himself. "Here, we shall build it here." Kuja and Zh'Azhak nodded, then set off in different directions. Admoreth started off for the woods, and began to slaughter a pack of wolves. One by one, the dogs fell, and Admoreth carved away their remains. The pile of organics at the clearing began to grow, and Zh'Azhak started to give the hides and flesh a form. Admoreth saw that Horace had made it, as he unloaded a roll of hides onto the pile.

As time passed, the remains were ready. The set torches and kindling fires had began to burn the flesh, creating a smoke plume above Zh'Azhak's handywork. The four stood before the pyre, and Zh'azhak began to speak.

"This eve we will take our greatast step, the final step." He breathed in the aroma of burned flesh then began to speak once more. "Come, feast upon what you slaughtered!"

The four took a handful of ashen flesh and ate it thusly, as they did, Zh'Azhak exclaimed "Ignore all humane thoughts, consume what you slaughter as Oblivion does." Zh'Azhak motioned for all to step away from the pyre, and raised a hand before it. "All who are capable, set it aflame."
The four wielded their arcane aptitude to create a blazing inferno from the pyre, leaving only ashes, smoke, and charred hides.

"Prepare as you wish, tonight will be our grandest hour." Zh'Azhak closed, and the four parted their ways.

Admoreth returned to his keep near Umbra, and sat in thought until they wre to travel to Deciet.

"Nizar's Spellbook is all within grasp."
