Since the last Publish I have been "hanging up" a lot. The music gets stuck and then I get errored out of the game. I've checked my CPU usage and my PC memory has plenty of space. I thought at first the music was inteferring so I shut it off but that didn't help. Use of AutoMap and UO Curse aren't the culprit either. Any suggestions or anyone else having the same stability problems?

Should I try reinstalling UO? If I unistall will I loose all my hard earned stuff or is that all stored on the server?

I'm not a computer person so please keep any help to an idiots level. Thanks.

Any items you have are server-side.
Reinstalling may help, but you'd have to redo all of your macros (which isn't entirely too bad).

You can copy the macro.txt thing and paste them back in afterwards if you do a fresh install. It's not so bad to redo the macros. It's not even so bad to redo them from start, at least I don't think so.

Copy the Desktop folder (in your UO folder) to a safe place, uninstall, reinstall, and copy the Desktop folder back. That will preserve your macros and such.
