Tai had just fiinished a patrol of Serpten's Hold with Arakad and Takeda, when he saw a young boy tacking up a colorful poster on the door to the Guard barracks.

"Oy, you there, kishi no gusha, for whom do you squire, and why do you deface our barracks?"

Tai dismounted and walked up the the boy in mid hammer swing, with Takeda and Arakad close behind. The squire's hands were trembling.

"Sensei, has he dishonored you or our barracks" Takeda asked while his right fingers fluttered near the hilt of his sword.

"Iie, Takeda-san, he is I am sure mistaken about where his is placing this scroll" Tai removes his helm and gloves and mempo.

The squire turned to the men and dropped the remaining scrolls and ran.

"I am afraid we have much work to do if common citizens still run in fear of us. However, Arakad-san, drawing your finger across the line of your throat might not have helped matters" Tai said bending over to pick up the scrolls.

"Sensei..."

"Iie, Takeda-san I do not have eyes in the back of my head. I just know Arakad-san, well."

Tai then unrolls a scroll and stares at the curling fancy lettering and the bright colors. After many long minutes brought on by the excessive flowery script and rainbow colors, Tai had deciphered the message.

"It seems that Molly-san is recruiting people to fight against the very night. Now there is a job I do not desire. Because darkness falls just as the light will dawn. Why she would want to stop the ways of the world, I am not sure," Tai said to the Guard as he carefully rolled it back up.

"Takeda-san, please return the rest of the unused scrolls to Gauntlet Isle, and tender unto Molly-san our regrets about joining her cause."

"Hai, Sensei."

Hearing the bell ring she goes to the door and opens it, then opens the gate to the man standing there. She sees he is carrying some roled up scrolls in his arms.

Come in.

The man steps inside long enough to hand them to her and bows. She smiles at him.

What are these?

A gift from Tai-san. He says he thanks you but he must decline your offer.

Looking confused she looks at the scrolls and recognizes them and then chuckles.

Well tell him this for me. If he changes his mind for him to contact me and I will consider his membership with the others.

She then giggles as the man bows again and leaves. She calls for a squire and hands him the scrolls.

Please do not take any to the Regency barracks this time. I don't think they will be joining us.

The squire nods and heads off towards Luna. She closes the gate and goes back to the desk to create more posters.

Otto was strolling through Moonglow. Just passing through to pick up some supplys, thought he would check the bulletin board to see if he could pick up an escort job to help put some weight into his purse. "Hmmm" he thought aloud after reading the Gauntlet poster, "Perhaps a chance to find purpose and to make something better of myself." With that he sent a message to the Grand Dutchess to set up a time to meet her to express his intrest.
