Alizia sat wondering if she made the right decision. She watched Charles as he was gathering up his things. Maginica had claimed her husband as their own...they took his time from her and his family. She could not say anything because, after all Mark was whom he was when she fell in love with him. She had become his mistress while is marriage to the party and Magincia remained. She knew this and accepted it for the most part. But this was their son...if he belonged to anyone it was her. After losing Mark, she had noted she had ecome quite possessive over him.
"At the end of the week sweetie. I still have some loose ends to clear up before we can head out."
She answers Charles question about when they will be leaving. But first off, she thought to herself, I want to meet whomever they have chosen to be his tutor. She sat down at the writing table and began to write a letter.
Dear Gohan,
I am writing in regards to my son, Charles. As you have heard by now I am sure, we are planning to return to Maginicia to live. Though I have no plans of leaving the new family I have found, but my residence will be within your city. I would like to meet this man that you wish to be Charles personal tutor. I want to meet him beforehand. I still have somethings that I must finished before Charles and I are able to move. I would also like a meeting with you. I have questions that bore in my heart and mind ever since I heard the news of my husbands passing. I do not wish to ask them in a letter for I want to beable to look you directly in the eyes as I listen to your answers. Please send word when would be a good time for these meetings. I would like to also remind you of one thing...Mark may have belonged to the party and to your city...but Charles is mine. I will not lose him as I did Mark.
Sincerely,
Alizia Randerstill

Gohan lay in bed, tossing noisily when the messenger knocked on the door with the missive from Alizia. He shouted angrily for the messenger to depart from him, and begun hacking and coughing with the excitement. The messenger quickly dropped the papers on Gohan's desk, shot him a look of contempt, and left the room with haste.
Hours later Gohan awoke, his fever broken, and he finally, after the past agonizing day, began to regain his composure. He poured himself a glass of water and emptied it in an instant. He shook his head violently and rubbed his eyes, and for some reason these simple actions brought him back to reality, where his looked to his desk, and saw a small pile of papers, most from Drake. He sighed heavily as the amount of work to be done came back to him, and hit him harder than the sickness earlier that day.
He then saw the missive from Alizia Randerstill, and more emotion then simply the caring for the people of Magincia came to him. All the sadness of losing Mark came rolling into his heart once more. He cursed himself once more for missing the ceremony held by Drake for Mark, to celebrate his life and accomplishments. With some difficulty, he steered his mind on the task at hand, and began to write a reply to Alizia.
Dear Alizia Randerstill,
Myself, as well as the rest of the party, are very pleased to hear that you will be returning to Magincia with your son. I understand that you have reservations about returning to Magincia, and I would be happy to have the tutor meet with you, and hope to ease your mind in some way. I know the impact of Mark's death on myself and the Party is no comparison to the pain you and your son must feel. We may have lost a leader and friend, but he was a father and husband to you. The very least I can say to you will be the truth. I owe you, your son, and Mark that much. If this Saturday evening is a good time, I will arrange for the tutor and myself to meet with you, at the location of your choosing.
Signed,
Son Gohan

Gohan then turned to find the messenger back with another paper from Drake, and he apologized to the young man for his earlier actions. He then instructed the messenger to take the message to Alizia with haste. _________________

There was a knock on the door. Alizia had sent Charles to go play with this friends. After all he would not have much more time before they were leaving. Alizia called out for the person to enter, believing it to be her brother whom was helping her pack her items and taking care of some last details. The messenger offered her the letter and she smiled slightly. She gave the boy a tip and had him await in case a reply was needed. She sent the boy to the Inn keeper to get him abit to eat. She gazed upon the letter and sighed. At least now he finally reaches her. She took out her quill and began to write.
Dear Gohan,
I am pleased to hear from you so quickly. I shall set the meeting to be this coming Saturaday at five hours past the noon sun by the eastern skies. I would if at all possible have time with you by myself before the meeting of the tutor if that will be possible. If this day is good for you then no need to reply. Should this day or the time be unreasonable please send word as to when would be more appropriate. Til then may faith and the virtues light your path.
Sincerely,
Alizia Randerstill

She gave the boy the letter and instructed him to finish his meal first before heading off. During their talk the boy let it slip that Son Gohan seemed feverish and ill when he had first went to him. Alizia sighed then went to a cabinet and handed the boy a vial. She instructed him to give it to Gohan..for when he is feverished again and to take one teaspoon in some tea. The boy nodded then finished his meal, thanked her for the tip and headed on his way. _________________ "Nature gave man two ears but only one tongue.
