Rellik has walked and considered what he had done for many months. As he walked he learned things of the world that was infront of him the whole time but did not see.. As he wondered the lands he would randomly drop into the meetings he once visited often hearing the words of the people and hearing the blood thirst in many of thier voices.
As he wondered the lands he seemed to slowly heal, not from the physical injuries he was submitted to but the mental ones and the physical that he committed upon friends and companions. His soul was torn. Rellik knew not what was before him in his healing and forgiving of himself. As time went by Rellik began to think of his days with the Harpers and the mistakes that was made.
This day Rellik walked with his head down ignoring the fact of the snow on the ground and listening to the wind, for it seemed to be the one he could speak with often and find many answers to things. He seemed to speak often not only to the winds but to all things that nature brought him in contact with. As he listened and walked he heard the voice of the wind, but this time it spoke much louder than usual.
As he rose his head to hear the words of the wind he realized where he was, he stood before the Hall, the Hall of The Harpers.. Rellik quikly turned and spoke to himself. "I shall not return to this place." He slowly tilted his head and looked to the sky. Rellik called out "Why have you brought me here for Mother?" As he called out a strong wind blew and his face came cold, his legs became numb, and feet became rooted to the ground where he stood.
Rellik stood there for many hours looking to the sky and questioning the winds. As he became more fatigued from the position and the cold brittle winds he seemed to go into a semi sleep. As he was in this state Rellik saw many things, he saw the fall of Britain, his home Yew he saw burn while orcs laughed and danced on the corpses of the inhabitants. He saw the fall of the guilds of light and that darkness had risen to a point of total domination of Sosaria. He then began to see his parents before him. They were speaking to him but yet he could not hear them, but only was able to understand them pointing back at The Hall. Rellik looked unto his parents faces knowing what they were telling him he had to do, he knew they were showing him the possible future if he did not agree with what they asked of him.
After several hours of being almost comatosed in his stance Rellik fell to the ground reaching for his parents that he loved so much. As he turned he knew this was one of those times his father spoke of, the time where he must face not only the demons of the world but the inner demons. He stood up and brushed himself of the snow and looked upon the Hall. When Rellik walked into the corridor of the entrance he noticed the stones had been through much torment of weather and neglect. He slowly turned the knob on the door and the spirits of the past, present and future passed through him with a chill that he would not soon forget. As he took a deep breath he looked to the sky above and whispered "This will be a new begining of old indeed." |
