Mallory,

Dear Sister, I regret that I will not be able to finishing the lessons I had started teaching you, I am to disembark from these lands, unsure of when nor where I am going, but it will happen. This is the last you will hear from me, for after this letter, I will be beyond contact, thus I fealt I needed to send you a proper farewell, or atleast the best I could. After you read this, you may write in response if you wish, write on the back of this letter, the paper is magical and I will recieve, for pigeons shall not be able to reach me.

Knowing you and having you as the little sister I never had, has been a blessing to my life. From the nights of you and I conspiring together of my romance with Lady LaBelle, and at the time you and Vaen. I am proud of how the two of you still managed to be great friends after that. You were a great student those few times I was blessed to teach you.

You have a gentle and kind soul Mallory, and remain true to yourself always. I wish you only the best in life. I thank you for being the family I had gone my whole life without. Thank you and may the Virtues continue to guide you. I hope you used the book I gave you and continue to tour the Shrines of Virtue without me and maybe even, take someone with you who is seeming to be lacking in faith.

Thank you again Mallory, knowing you and being your "big brother" has been a true highlight of my life.

Live well, and take care of yourself my sister.

Yours in Virtue,
-Leshok Majere

Mallory held the letter in her hand, her eyes filling with tears. So many had come and gone in her life, and Leshok had quickly become a teacher, a friend, and a brother to Mallory. She laughs to herself as she read the part of the two of them conspiring. How many times had others thought they in fact were more than friends, and in truth they were... they were family. When her heart was broken it was Leshok there to listen to her. When she had wanted to surprise Vaen, it was Leshok she went to talk to and get his advice. He had been the closest friend she had made since making her move from Minoc. How she would love to have told him about the recent relationship that was developing between her and Smiticles, and the school she was starting to work on. Perhaps one day she would have that opportunity...

She made her way to her study area and turned the letter over to begin writing...

My dear friend and brother Leshok,

I can not lie, your letter brings much sadness to my heart. To hear you are leaving, and Lady Labelle as well I assume, makes me feel as though I am once again losing my family. You were the closest I had ever come to having a brother, and I enjoyed our many times together. I will continue to study in your absense and I will do my best to continue to make you proud, my brother and my friend.

There is so much I wish to tell you about. So many questions I have yet to ask and so much to learn. I wish you and Lady Labelle nothing but happiness in whatever path you may follow. One day our paths may once again cross, and until then I will pray that the Virtues guide you and protect you both.

Yours In Virtue and Friendship,
Mallory

Mallory wondered how the paper would work exactly, and decided to leave it there on her desk.
