Its still a great RP thing. Have a cannon on a second floor aimed directly at your front door Wink

I wonder if that line of thinking will eventually lead them to a technology based expansion with hand cannons and eventually rifles/pistols.

At this point, I think it'd be neat, provided they do it right; I don't want to see artifact rarity 10 "JoNnY b GuD SpEcIaL" dual blaze handguns with more swingspeed than a dagger dropping off a mongbat.

They should have no magical mods; the bullets should, and no more than one mod, and they should not be insanely fast. If they are, they should have a long reload.

If they impliment a gun system I think they should take an Arcanum point of concept and not allow magic and guncraft to correspond with one another and just make the guns fairly powerful (not overly so) to compensate. Would be a nice swing to see something not be revolved around "pW|\| Z7@7z" for once.
