OH! I thought of a few more...

What's the deal with powerhour? Does it still exist?
And if I did put up a second house after already having one, what happens to the first?
I know certain metals change the armor it's making, but do the different woods do that?

Power hour is gone. There is 'GGS' now (guaranteed gain system) which means you get a piddly .1 skill every day far, far easier than it normally would be to get that .1 skill (or some such? correct me if I'm off). Skill gaining is, however, supposed to be easier than before.

First thing to note is that if you place or recieve a house, a timer starts in which time you can't place or recieve another house (unless you demolish or trade away the first house, I think that resets the timer; again, correct me if I am a bit off here). Secondly, if you CAN place or recieve a new house and have an old one, the old one will begin a very fast decay and drop within a few days. Even if you get rid of the new house by demolition or trade, the old house will continue to decay and soon fall unless you trade the house away (and get it back, of course).

Different woods do indeed affect armor, weapons, and shields made with it. Here is what each wood type does for what item you are making.

Alright, one more...

What's the percentage for stealing from a dungeon with over 100.0 stealing?
What effect does being hungry have?

Alright, that's two. But close enough.

Well I know that when I'm hungry I'm grumpy and tired....

I think it does something like that to your character. I know if I dont eat before I fight it's a bad thing....so if I were you I'd just eat and eat and eat.

You mean like stealing things off the floor in doom? If I remember right, the old calc is this:

100 stealing: 1% chance
105 stealing: 25% chance
110 stealing: 50% chance
115 stealing: 75% chance
120 stealing: 100% chance

And the effects of being hungry are still shrouded in rumor. I think a dev poked at the hungry code a year or two back and said it does nothing, but you'll hear a lot of people claim that they gain skills better and fail at things less when well fed.

The devs posted that it has NO purpose in game. It does not affect any regen rates, or success rates for using any skill. Players are not impacted by not eating in any way. The only thing that is impacted is your pets. They need to be fed to help maintain loyalty.

The answer to how people make so much gold is not by cheating, buying gold or hunting. Hunting doesn't get it because I have played UO for over 8 years and never had more than 3 million at one time. My wife, Sarah makes all 70 suits and 100% LRC suits and sells them in Luna for up to 7 million at a pop. In one night she makes 3 times what what I have made in 8 years. Neither I nor her cheat and we have never paid one dime in real money for anything in UO. Want to get rich...be a good merchant, same as in real life.

Eating does effect your Stamina a bit...next time it is low during a fight, eat something and it will rise slightly.

The devs have also posted that they fully admit to the existance of 'dark corners' in the server scripting of UO; bits of code that work, but they don't know HOW they work, and in some cases what they even do. They simply leave them alone since they are not broken. This is why scripters need to comment their code as they go, because it'll make someone weep down the road (or maybe they don't comment code and make it confusing on purpose... some scripters call that 'job security').

Keeping that in mind, I wouldn't be suprised if they overlooked something in regard to foodin'.
