Penny sat at the table. She realized there was one more person that needed to know of her decision. She then began to write.

Lord Norture,

I am writing in regards to a decision I have made this day. I have resigned from the emissary position and stepped down as vice mayor. I suggested that Lord Gabriel take my place in regards to being emissary for your order. I am sorry but a few things have come up, which makes it hard for me to devote the time needed for such a honorary position. I do hope that our two cities can continue to co-exist in a peaceful setting. I will continue to do my best to advocate peace between Umbra and Sanctus. I just will not be doing it on the front lines, more of behind the scenes for now. I am hoping that once all has passed and settled itself, that I may return as an emissary. But til then, I need to take leave of it.
