Affidavit of Testimony
Sworn and Attested by: Poppy & Chasity Jamille, Citizens of Papua
Witnessed and Notarized by: Ivan Blackhand, Gaoler
The signees hereby declare the following to be eyewitness truth:
"We both have seen a dark-skinned elvish person, a female, dressed in a multi-colored (black, green, and red) hooded robe in various places about the town over the last two weeks."
"I first saw her as she passed by my window at the Inn where I work as a cook's apprentice there. She did not see me then. I noticed her because she was dressed so strangely. I watched her as she went down the road. I decided to follow her and I did from a good distance hiding some to keep her from seeing me. It was hard to watch her because she seemed to disappear for a few moments, only to appear in the shadows of Pier 39. I saw Marcus Branwyr with a crate by the docks and he was talking with a worker there. Marcus and the worker went inside the building and I saw her enter behind them. She went in very slowly. They came out with some fruit and Marcus put the fruit in the crate and locked it. He then went behind the building to relieve himself. He came back and took the crate, packed it on a mule and used a gate travel spell to leave. I saw her exit the building and got a brief glimpse of her face under the hood. Her skin was midnight black, much darker than any native Papuan's I have ever seen. I saw white hair but the strangest thing was the usually white part of her eyes was purple. She saw me and hurried away. I went back to work but reported this when I learned we were supposed to report strangers roaming the town." - Poppy Jamille.
"I saw this same person at the bank a few times and at the Inn. She took a room there for a few days. I work there and saw the register. She signed her name as "Jivvin" but I believe that was not her real name. She did not say much except to order some food and drink. I can say for sure from what I know of Dark Elves, she was definitely one of them." - Chasity Jamille.
