A long time ago, before the one once known as Dan had ventured into Malas and had joined the ranks of the Order of Sanctus, he resided in the Order of the Praetorian Guard. In this order, as reward for his support and skills, he was given the proper supplies and papers to build his very own tower. Though this tower resided within the dark lands of Felluca upon the isle of Fire, it stood as a personal haven for him. Using it as his study, a meeting place, and a home, several personal works were written by his hand when he could find time to spare.

However, as time wears all things, this tower fell from its foundation, leaving his workings and study under rubble. One parchment, however, lay upon the side of this rubble, one single document that was lucky enough to have been blown out the window before the foundation gave in. Collecting only dirt and rain, it deteriorated quickly, but was eventually found and collected by a passing traveler.

It was a poem, and poetry was quite rare in elusive in desolate Felluca. Seeing as how the traveler thought he might bring some small spark of culture back into the pea-brained madmen whom ran about killing all in sight, he copied the document and posted it upon many of the billboards around the towns. Having enough respect to not claim the poem for himself, he wrote the author as anonymous.

To this day, this poem still hangs on many billboards in the towns of Felluca.

Runaway Crush

There she is
across the hall

There she is
the new year's ball

There she is
sitting at my side

There she is
my smile goes wide

There she is
I miss her so...

There she is
though I have to let go

There she is
and I'll never forget

There she is
not ever, not yet

And there she goes
