Posted at each bank throughout the land .

A piece of dried human flesh printed with dragon blood for ink hung on the walls with a black dagger though each.

Seeking those of the darkest heart and cruelest minds. A new group of like minded individuals will take this land by force. Only those who truely know what it means to be evil , sick and cruel need apply. Any of those not fitting those requirements shall be drawn and quartered and and their skins ripped off and dried for future postings. If you think you have what it takes come on the 20th hour of the day on the 3rd day of this month to the star bridge south of Luna . Together we shall sow such horror this land has never seen before and bring pain , torment and torture to those who call themselves lightbringers. This land is about to plunge into total darkness and those who are with us shall walk out and see the joys of death and destruction.

Eyeing he banner for a moment, Isil simply smirked to herself

He really wants to die... doesn't he.

Re-reading the sign, she chuckles

The last thing you want the lightbringers to know... is of your existance

Sighing and rolling her eyes, she recalls off

Walking past the bank in Luna she shudders seeing the odd looking parchment, recognizing it as skin. The brownish color of the ink was obviously blood. She read what it said and looked at the distinctive handle of the dagger. The handle and blade were black as ebony and it made her stomach flutter with fear for those that would encounter the wielder of such a weapon. She took out a bandage and grabed the piece of leathery skin removing the dagger. She wrapped them in the bandage and placed them in her pack. She would show this to the Royal Court and a few others. She had a dark forboding of what was to come. As she crossed the very bridge that was spoken of in the letter on her way home, chills ran up her spine.

Far too close to home, she muttered.

She drew in a deep breath and continued across. With every step she spoke in low elven words of power towards the stones of the bridge hoping they would be a disturbing energy to the interlopers at their meeting. As she reached the other side and touched the ground she breathed again deeply, trying to still her rolling stomach.

An opening in the ground backlit by the fires deep within showed the form of a man walking from them.
Stepping out of the opening and looking about was Anton. Ah what a lovely day . The sky was overcast the a bit of rain fell. Summoning up his charger he rode off to check his posts he left at the banks. He rode about and all but one was left .Hmm I seem to have struck a cord here in Luna, let us see what comes of this. Reaching into his bag he pulled another dagger and a copy of yet the same note and buried the dagger deep in the mortar wall .

Riding out of Luna he noticed a few people watching as he headed south. Crossing the meeting point for the night he stopped, dismounted and pulled a black katana from his side and began to scribe into the bridge the inverted star. Soon all will fear this mark he muttered. Mounting the steed again he bagan to ride off . The sky was begining to clear the rain had stopped when he left Luna. Great another miserable day in Malas .Heading south he reached Hanses. Looking about he saw now one around . He dismounted walked in and pulled a new parchment from his bag and sat at the nearest table. Reaching into his bag he pulled a small vile of red liquid and a tail feather of a harpy. He began to write.

Townfolk of Sanctus ,

You have long enjoyed your peaceful existance here in this quiet neck of the land. I have come forth from the deepest parts of the underworld and soon my disciples and myself will wreak havok on your peaceful existance. I will not hide like other who have tried this before me, I will not cower from a fight , and most of all I WILL NOT ABIDE BYYOUR LAWS, for they are the laws of the weak and powerless . Those who think they can rule by sheer numbers . You will see me about this place of yours many times and you will learn my face . Very soon you will all come to fear the disciples when they ride into your town. Be fore warned the DISCIPLES are coming and we will take over your world.

Anton

Finishing up the message he looked about where shall I place this that all will see, Ah Yes . Standing up and walking towards the bar he drives a black daggeer through the skin parchment and into one of the kegs of their finest ale on the bar. Turning , He walks back to the table and places the feather back into his bag . Reaches for the vile , he picks it up and looks about yet again. He then throws the vile against the door at the near end of the bar and watches as it shatters and the blood spills down the door. Laughing he walks out the front door and mounts his charger and vanishes into the moutian side.

They will see me tonight in their own backyard he says to himself.

The minter came running up to Skurj as he entered the bank of Papua. Skurj personally detested the man---an old, short, fat fellow who could talk for days about how well the flowers in his garden were growing all due to his personal expertise. To prevent him from getting too close, he spoke first. "What is it?" he asked, sniffing the air, then wrinkling his nose. "And don't get too close. You stink of your garden."

The fellow hobbled to a halt. "Look sire!! Over there on the wall!" he muttered, his voice and hands trembling as he pointed to a piece of parchment impaled on the wall with a dagger. Skurj's nose instantly caught the odor of decaying flesh but it was not an unpleasant smell to him. He went to where the poster was and read it silently to himself. The minter followed him part of the way, stopping to stand behind him, one hand over his mouth. "What shall I do with it, sire? It's horrible!"

Beneath his mempo, Skurj smiled, removed the poster, turned and handed the it to him. "Make copies and put them all over town... especially the Inn," he ordered. "When you are done, put this one back up here, just like you found it." He scrutinized the dagger, turning it over in his hand, admiring the craftsmanship.

Holding the poster between forefinger and thumb, and wearing an expression of disgust mingled with horror, the minter's eyes widened. "Milord!! What can you mean? Why would you want me to do such a thing?!"

Skurj turned around and glared at him. Tapping the end of the dagger on the man's chest for emphasis, he explained. "It is for the good of Papua. What better way to rid ourselves of evildoers? Better them ply their trade elsewhere, don't you think?"

The minter just nodded. "I... guess so, sire. Whatever you say," he replied trundling off to complete his new task.

Skurj flipped the dagger in the air and caught it by the hilt. "And what better way to aid such a noble cause," he muttered, grinning maliciously.

The night was still and Saidhe sat trimming a few leaves off a potted plant when her pixie ears caught a sound coming from the Hostel. Alarmed, she got up from her stool and flittered through the doors of the pixie patch, heading for the tavern only a few meters away. As she entered, she noticed a distinct and wretched stench coming from the bartop. As she flittered closer, she noticed a peice of decaying skin with a blackened dagger driven through it. It was attached to a keg which contents were spilled about the tile. She gasped in horror and covered her mouth with her small, framed hand. As she read from the flesh-parchment, her eyes grew wide and she let out a soft whine.

"This can not be happening.. We were finally at peace.",
she whispered to herself with tears welling in her eyes.

Saidhe carefully pulled the dagger out of the keg and used a bandage to pick up the used flesh-parchment. She put them both in a empty pouch to later bring to deputy Poshe for examination. Saidhe gagged slightly in doing this, the smell was revolting. As she flittered to the back door, she stopped quickly noticing the red liquid running down the door into a small puddle on the tile. Saidhe's hovering power was broken by pure fear and she landed flat on her feet. She knelt down and touched her finger to the liquid then rubed her index finger and thumb together. Blood.. she thought to herself. But whose and why? She turned her back to the door and headed for the main set of doors in search of deputy Poshe...

The King and Crown Prince sat thoughtfully over a game of stones in the royal tower high atop Castle Blackgard. Chancellor Spawn perused a stack of reports while relaxing in a high-backed plush chair. Baron Morus leaned on his polearm silently while watching the game.

Talon gingerly slid a peice forward, knocking over one of Zarlox's stones.

"Your move, brother," Talon said with a smirk.

Zarlox pondered a moment before moving a carefully selected peice forward.

"Checkmate, old man," Zarlox said with a chuckle.

Just as Talon was about to erupt into a terrifying array of curse words, the doors burst open. In rushed Lord Gailan, a terrified Saidhe in tow.

"Sire, my apologies for interrupting, but this is urgent," the grizzled paladin commander exclaimed while placing a bloody parchment on the table. Saidhe nodded hurriedly.

Hours later, the Council sat in session beneath Blackgard as the King addressed them.

"In the vacuum the Ebon Skull left, a new threat is gathering. I have listened to all of your advice. No peace will ever last, and it is no different this time. We do not know where this threat comes from, but we do know their purpose; to destroy our way of life. I want as much reliable intelligence as possible on this new group. They do not fear us, this is obvious. They have the audacity the stage a meeting at the border between Sanctus and Luna. I admire their bravado.

We cannot depend on outsiders, but when has this not been the case. Dispatch a runner to the Regency and her vassals to see what they know of this new threat. I want our military forces conducting regular patrols. Not only the heartlands of our kingdom, but the northern plains and western marches as well.

We will meet this new threat head on, while others discuss it in committee."

With that, the King dispatched orders to individuals. The new night had fallen.
