Sadira just layed back in her bed. Dust from the road still partially covering her face and clothing. She didn't care though. She was exhausted both physically and emotionally. She had walked all over the city of Umbra finding anyone that may know of Bailos. Though most of her memories have returned, a few were still jumbled and the ones of her during her first time in Sanctus still gone. This marriage that the one called Dyn told her of. Did she really marry Bailos and if so, were they still married? She could not see how she could have been married to anyone but Zarlox. Zarlox...the man who even though had been absent in her life currently, due to his duties still held her heart even more so. She needed to know answers, and for now this Bailos was the only one she felt could give her the answers. She pushed herself up and swung her legs over the side.
"Two trips to Umbra and only today did I get any kind of lead of where to seek this man out."
She says loud enough as if she were speaking to another.
"But that lead only led me to dead trees and empty buildings. Is Bailos still even in this realm? I was told he was gone yet notice posted in his script supposedly."
She just shakes her head as she slowly gets up.
"If only I could speak to Zarlox. How I wish he were here now."
She said in a sadden tone. She ached to see her beloved, but knew they could never truly be together til she could figure out these answers. She started to head to the bathroom. She wanted to freshen up and feel clean. Meanwhile in her mind, she wondered if she did find Bailos, would he even tell her the truth? She wasn't sure, at this rate, she felt she had no other choice. _________________ "Nature gave man two ears but only one tongue. A gentle reminder that he should listen more than he speaks." |
