The Death of Kotare was not an easy one to cope with for Adin. There was a time when Father and son waged war against one another. But those days have long since passed. As Adin grew older, he began to see the error of his ways.

Adin returned home after hearing the news of his father's passing. His step mother had already exiled the Blackwinds to any claims, making her power absolute. But the ambitions of his stepmother mattered little in Adin's eyes. He had to rebuild Blackwind like his father did all those many years ago.

The first things Adin changed was the Blackwind's purpose. During the last days of Kotare's life, The Blackwinds were advocates of Justice. Now they would be made to serve in a new role. The role of observer and information gatherers. Blackwind, while still remaining a Militarocracy, uses its abilitiy of espionage as its main focus.

The Second thing to change was the Blackwind Colors. No longer would the traditional Black and Purple be flown with the banners of Blackwind. They would now be Black and White. This change represents the search for truth.

The Last thing to change is the Military Rank Structure. No longer would members of Blackwind be given a title, but a rank number represented by roman numerals. These numbers range from 1 to 10. With 10 being the highest rank reserved for the Duke. The Duke would be the only one with a title as tradition states that the oldest male child shall inherits his late fathers title upon his 20th Birthday. (this takes place on June 23, 2006)

These ranks are broken down into three groups. Soldiers, Knights and Spies.

Adin decided that the Soldiers serve as the backbone to the Blackwind Military. The Knights provide the leadership of that Military as well as serve as personal guards to protect him. The Spies serve to gather information that would best be used to Blackwind's advantage.

The Order of Blackwind was now taking shape.
