My name is Asher Tyven, Arcane Lieutenant of the Order of Sanctus. I have recently been appointed ambassador to the Royal Court of Light.

From here on, it is my job to keep the lines of communication open between our organizations. The official messenger arrived at the Royal Courts halls and dropped the letter with the clerk on duty. He asked it be delivered as soon as possible, so the clerk requested a message be sent to Sir Reckoning. When Shihan arrived he took the letter and noticed it was marked with a Sanctus emblem.

“I wonder what this is all about” he mumbled as he opened it. Oh interesting he thought. This will make things a lot easier.

“Written as part of the official entry into the daily reports to the Duchess”

He picked up his pile of paperwork… did some sorting and looked around office. I guess it is late enough to deliver these he thought. He gave his night orders to the clerk and left to deliver his reports to the Royal Residents.

She invited Shihan in but he said he had other duties. She accepted the usual pile of neatly stacked papers and the daily reports on top. She bowed saying 'Buy your Leave' and stepped off the stairs, summoned his mount and road off. As she went back inside she read stopping at the mention of the letter from Sanctus. She laid the other papers aside and opened the letter. She carried it to her writing desk and wrote a response.

Greetings Lord Tyven,

It is good to hear from Sanctus and I would be pleased to have you sit at the Court of Light. I believe we have been introduced but never heald a full conversation.

My first question would be to your King. We had a conversation two days previous to this missive. The Status of Sanctus in the Royal Court was on my mind when I arrived but the conversation never occurred. We talked of other matters more urgent and that question was never addressed.

Sanctus was a founding member of the Royal Court but since things became tense between the Nation of Sanctus and some of the member guilds of the Court that are Loyalists to the Regency. The occupation of Moonglow and the Royal Court's position on that has also created ill will on the part of nearly all the major nations and peoples of Sosaria. So much has transpired over the past few months. I know this letter seems to be rambling but I must know if Sanctus still considers itself a member of this Court, as they never formally dropped their membership. I am sure you are aware of most of this but I want to be clear on the position of membership. This will effect the vote and your guild’s status. Please advise me as soon as you have had a chance to speak to King Talon.

Lady Willow,

Rest assured that Sanctus will be there to aid the Court just as much as the Court has been here to aid Sanctus. For as strongly as the Court has stood behind Sanctus, will be just as strong as Sanctus will stand behind the Court.

When next I see you, I think it would be best if we traded words, rather than letters. I look forward to seeing you.
