The pounding in her head forces her awake, and yet she finds she has to fight the heavy fog to stay awake, to even think. As she tries to sit up, Savhanna finds that she is unable to will her body to do her bidding, the pounding in her head pales by comparison with her body when she attempts to move. The room is dimly lit yet she can see a lush tapestry on the wall near the bed she is in. The bed is larger and softer than her own. Closing her eyes, the Mayor of Spiritwood succumbs to the dense fog.

She knew something was different the moment she set foot inside her house. Whether it was in the air or otherwise, she didn't know, but she intended to find out. Someone was hiding in there.

Removing her riding gloves and her cloak, she set them over the back of a chair in the dining room.

All was quiet.

She set her hat down upon the seat of the chair.

Turning, she strode quietly through the hall to the kitchen, but all was normal. So she made her way up the stairs to the bedrooms, walking slowly and silently, yet with purpose.

Confident that she could handle the intruder, she slowly opened the door to the study. Her eyes raked the room. Noone.

She pulled the door closed, gently, and turned about. She faced the spare bedroom.

A few strides put her up to the door, and she softly turned the knob. She began to push it open, and halted in her movements. The overwhelming smell of mortality hung in the room. Listening quietly, she could hear soft breathing from the direction of the bed. She eased the door open the rest of the way, having decided that if it was a burglar, they wouldn't be sleeping.

She made her way quietly to the bed, and stood there, staring down upon its occupant. Female. Human. Injured. The wounds had been dressed. The smell of blood was strong.

That left questions. Who the woman was. Who had brought her. Why did they bring her here, with a healer in town.

Eve closed her eyes and focused on the woman's aura. Bluish for calmness, as only unconsciousness can be.

Next, she concentrated on the woman's mind. She urged the sleeping mind to tell her who the woman was. Useless images played themselves, until finally, she tapped into the right channel. Savhanna. Any image of Lord Myrdra in the subconscious. At that point, Eve withdrew her questing from the unconscious woman. If this woman was aquainted with Lord Myrdra, she would be well cared for here.

Eve headed down to her lab to check the results of last night's experiments.

Sleep, Lady Savhanna, I shall be here when you awaken.

Angelique had gone frantic searching for Savhanna. After finding Prime drunk, a rare state for him, and dragging the details out of him of a caravan gone sour. How Savhanna was attacked by the TreeFolk and a woman patroling the area took them back to a home in Umbra. All he could tell her in his current condition was that the home was near Umbra and that the woman was short. Angelique insisted he sober up and be ready to lead a party in to bring Savhanna home the next morning.

Morning came and went with no sign of Prime. Jake, whom Prime said was also guarding Savhanna and the pack animal was no where to be found as well. Angelique went in search of Savhanna on her own, scouring Umbra and the surrounding area with a fine tooth comb, sending the twins in search of Jake and Prime or anyone else that might lead them to Savhanna.

Nightfall came, with the boys long in bed, Isk returned home to a frantic wife. Staring in her crystal orb she could see Savhanna laying in a bed, obviously injured. The vision ended there. It was not a home the gypsy recognized. In his calm manner Isk reassured his wife that if she was in Umbra with a woman sent out on patrol, she was most likely with one of Lord Bailos' guards and that he had some diplomatic ties there that would help them find her.

The following day they went together to Umbra, while at the Bloodletter's, getting the same response Angelique had gotten before, these men had not seen Savhanna, a woman walked in the door. After exchanging pleasantries they asked her as they had everyone they came into contact with, if she had seen Savhanna 2 nights past. Finally their luck had turned. This woman did indeed have Savhanna in her home. Eve escorted them to her home and made them at ease. Angelique was finally reunited with Savhanna, though there was little she could do. She changed the bandage over the deep laceration on her dear friend's right side but she could not wake her.

The following days were spent trying to locate Savhanna's healers and Alizia to no avail. Frequently visiting Savhanna to change her bandage but never finding her awake. Keeping an eye on her through the crystal orb, and entrusting her into the kind care of Lord Bailos' people. Athlon and Auris were sent to visit to read to her in hopes the familiar voices of the boys she loved might bring her around.

It had been several days since the attack now and still her side bled and she would not awaken. She was growing paler by the day. Angelique knew she must find a healer of some sort soon.
