Aryanna looked into her friends pale face. Wisty? Wisty stared at Aryanna and rushed forward hugging her.

Ary! She stepped back smiling. Ary! You got away! Aryanna ignored the statement intentionally and smiled.

Much has changed my friend. I am sad to say that you are not looking well.

Wistys eyes filled with tears, yes times have changed.

Are you still a Druid? The great City of Winds has sorely missed their guardian druid.

Wisty shook her head. I can guard no one at the moment, much less myself.

What are you doing here at the docks? Are you leaving town?
Wisty smiled, Aye, I need some time away. Wisteria smiled happily, I have found that I enjoy traveling the ocean, going to new places. I have stayed in one place to long.
Aryanna’s keen senses working she smiled at her fellow mage. Wisty, whatever you run from, you cant run forever.

Wisty laughed, Is that so? Do you not run from your own family Ary?
Ary smiled, No let mother come, I will deal with her, I have changed. Wisty stared at her remembering the shocking coldness of Aryannas skin when she hugged her. As a former Druid she sensed an unnaturalness about her. She shook her head before the truth quickly revealed itself in her mind. She didn’t wish to know. She would blind herself to the obvious facts.

Aryanna stared at Wisty and spoke softly. I know Wisty, I cant hide it from you, you were trained to figure these things out it was your calling as a druid to put the undead to rest. You can’t help it.
Wisty stared at Aryanna, please say no more, its best we leave the matter rest. A tear slipping down Wistys face, she turned away, my boat will be here shortly, I must gather a few more supplies. Till we meet again Ary. Be well, Be careful.

Aryanna nodded, as friends they would never be the same, their paths once the same, they had come to a fork in the road.
