The letter had mysteriously appeared on her desk, the seal of the House of Trevigne engraved upon it.

Aryanna shuddered her fear growing as she looked at the all to familiar symbol.

Opening the letter she saw the crude handwriting of her little sister.

Deer Ary,

I mis you. Momma is so mad. She is lokin for you. Ary I hert, but my nanny says the marks will go away. I am makin a plan to run to. Stay safe Ary, stay hidden. I luv you.

Aryanna collapsed on her desk in sobs, she never thought mother would turn her anger against the little girl. She had to help her, somehow she had to help. This letter had been read and seen by her mother, she knew it, and was a lure to draw her out. She was torn, she could not leave Gianna to suffer in her stead, but she knew it was a trap. Her skills were not strong enough yet but she had no choice. She would not let her sister suffer. She had to try....
