Cat and Gildamar were talking in the workshop and decided it was time to get things ready for the birthday party of a friend. They had planned the party and invited friends . Cat went to the bakers and bought a beautiful layer cake .
The party for their friend Sereena was going well and everyone was having such a good time , Cat lost sight of Gildamar.
Silent Poet came to the party and sang a few songs for Sereena. She was very happy to see him and loved the songs he sang .
After Silent Poet had departed and the party was winding down Cat went looking for Gildamar.
He was standing in a far off corner of the room looking very alone and confused. Cat walked to him and asked him if he was alright. He turned to her with a blank look on his face. He didnt know her.
They talked and Cat finally got him to understand that his name was Gildamar. When she told him she was Cat , he kept looking behind her until she asked him what he was doing and he said she did not have a tail , so she couldnt be a cat. She had to explain to him that she was not A cat but that her name was Cat. He finally understood.
She told him of the guild the Dark Order that they belonged to. She told him of thier love for one another and at this he only smiled and said he must have good taste in women.
He began to ask her questions , where he was from and did she know of his family. Cat thought very hard . She had heard him say where he had been as a child but her memory wasnt all that perfect on good days. She finally remembered he had told her he was raised in Trinsic and she took him there. They arrived at the bank and began to walk the streets. She remembered as they walked by the bakery that he had told her he had lived with the baker. They walked into the shop to the wonderful smells of freshly baked pies and cakes. Gildamar walked to the display counter and breathed in deeply . As cat was asking the nice baker where the cookies were she looked over to see Gil laying on the floor. She ran to him and kneeled on the floor next to him. He stayed so still she grew scared and began to cry. He blinked and opened his eyes. He looked up at her and said Hi hun. Cat smiled through her tears and helped him stand up. He stood for a moment and then looked at her. He said, I remember being at the party and now im here. What happened?
Then he realized the demon had gotten to him as he had countless others in the realm. But for him it had been not just a confusing loss of time but during that time he gained memories he never thought to find.
He now knew his parents had left him at the bakers because they were running from something and left him for his own safety. Now he knew his parents had been Gypsies. He knew part of who he was and was very happy. He hugged Cat to him and took her home. He was so happy to finally know who he was and a little of his history he wanted to honor his parents and his heritage. He placed a guild stone on the roof of the workshop and named it 'Kindred Spirits of Sosaria'. He removed the Dark Order badge and replaced it with his own . He looked to Cat and asked her if she would join him . She took his hand and became a part of his guild and his future.
