I looked down the list of polymorphable critters. I thought... Will any of these be really good for RP? Besides men pretending to be women, which happens plenty enough, There wasn't many forms that I thought mattered as an RP form.

Then it hit me: Gargoyle form. They are mages anyways. Makes sense, and might be the new race with Kingdom Reborn (unless its orcs.. or something else silly they pull out of their ass).

So, I am just curious, as an RP thing, what do people think about gargoyle form as an Rp form? It might be a neat RP to say you are from the gargoyle city in ilsh.

I just might do it myself, just might do it.

Roleplaying a Gargoyle is all in the language Smile

I think they talk in the third person.

True, but we had that down ages ago. Dressing up to be a gargoyle is harder. Wings and all.

gargolyes talk in a collective third person, they never say "I" or "Me" its always as if they are talking for the entire race.

Well... now those that play 1/3 daemon, 1/3 orc, 1/3 gargoyle, and 1/3 polar bear can polymorph for that day's RP.

Very Happy

Im sure some people will try to RP a polymortph race but the PVP disadvantage of not being able to ride a horse in monster form will probably take away from that. Who wants to RP a threatening daemon or gargoyle who cant go as fast as the other guy.

Actually, Mith, I was having the same ideas. Fear!

Seriously, this is great news. If you want to be an elf, for the mana boost alone, yet prefer your hat- you can poly morph and be a human. And still wear elven clothing.

Gargoyles, they could improve it by giving us gargish clothing like the gargoyles in Ilshenar. It would be cool if everytime you cast to become Gargoyle, it randomly selected different clothing. I just hate how nude the polymorph ones are. They aren't the same as the town.

Demons and orcs, gargoyles. It's a good day when they finally start improving useless spells for us to enjoy more.

Now if only while you were in the form, others of your "kind" didn't attack you, unless you attack them first. That would be great.

Men can't equip womens' clothing while in female form, which pisses me off so much. Oh well, I have memories.

*cough*
Back on topic, that's a pretty interesting idea. URL to the garg language. I know the DA page used to have stuff on speaking garg, but it's gone now.

Daemons would be fun to play.

Wish they changed this back in the day.

I always wanted to do something with a wolfwere, or werewolf character, by polymorphing into a wolf... meh, would have been good.
