Ceinwyn waited, hidden, beneath a tall stand of trees beside the bridge. The leafy foliage sheltered her from casual glances, in addition to the natural shadows that had expanded around her as she stood. A good camouflage.

She was well aquainted with Gauntlet Isle, having lived there, many many years ago. But, to her, it seemed not that long ago. Lord Brandon still had been her mentor, back then. The land of Malas had been still new and exciting. She had still been somewhat "kind" in a small way, helping people here and there. The odd sick child she had left deposited in a blanket on a healer's doorstep, the rare show of kindness leaving food at a poor family's all one long, cold winter. Indeed, if she did any act of goodness now, chances were high that she had 2 different self-serving reasons. She broke from her reverie, someone was approaching.

Footsteps, barely discernible, making their way to the rendezvous point.

She waited for him to emerge from the shadows before revealing herself, as well. He was empty-handed, and still free. Obviously not in pursuit. This meant he had been convincing and successful.

She opened a gate to the bank, and waited for him to go into it. After he had passed through, she sealed the gate and recalled to the bank, as well. Once at the bank, she opened another gate to the Citadel. They proceeded and emerged at the Citadel.

Once inside, she strode to her throne and plunked herself down onto it. She bade him to relate for all of them what had occurred. As he told it, they knew it had been a great success.

Now to sit back, and wait for the results.
