The Queen sat propped up in her bed in the Palace with pillows under her left leg. The healers did a good job setting the bone and binding the wound in her hand. In the distance she heard footsteps and two women entered the room. Her eyes opened wide and welled up with tears of happiness. Before her stood the Lady Medjie and her sister the Lady Ishtar who had been gone for sometime. "Ish, I've missed you where have you been?, the queen asked with tears of joy.

"It is a long story and a complicated one.", she answered as she made her way closer and sat on the bed next to her sister.

"If you will excuse me I must attend to my duties.", the Lady Medjie stated abruptly then turned on her heal and left the room.

After she was gone Ishtar started to explain all that has happened in the past weeks...

I was very ill for a while when I was staying at the keep with Kel. In the delerium an old friend appeared to me who I thought was a dream. A man named Jode, I used to talk with hime a lot inside Hanses Hostel and on my visits to Umbra. Unfortunately he is no longer with us in body.
My dream was no dream. His spirit was with me and somehow managed to become part of me. I still feel him or what was him in my head. As I discovered this I needed to cast numerous spell to protect myself from his pressance and give him the ability to speak to me.
For weeks nothing and then one night anothe dark voice echoed tryind to find him. The riders showed at the Palace outside and in fear I escaped and ran for my life. I made it to Skara Brea safely anf bartered passage with two pirates to Moonglow. I was hoping to find Lord Barl because of his experience with magic. I need to remove Jode's spirit from myself.
As I wandered the streets. I caught a glimpse of Lady Temptation. She told me about your ordeal and that the riders have not been seen. We made passage back here and on the journey I told her the story I tell you now.

She looked at her sister for a reaction. The Queen smiled and hugged her tight, "You are all right and that is all that is important. We will find a way to help you with the spirit that haunts you.", she pulled back from the embrace and stood up.

"Thank you Rose. I will let you rest.," she smiled and walked tot he doorway.

"Ish", she turned to face the Queen.

"Yes."

"Will you attend Regency in my stead tonight. I bleive Lord Thrax would like to speak with you."

Ishtar nodded and left the room.
