*Neatly written in black ink*
Lord Fong - Mayor of Moonglow,
It is rare that I take the time to write to you, old friend. If this was under different circumstances I would have visited you in person. This letter however is not to catch up on old times.
Within the last week I have noticed many occurances. Many members of the Moonglow Council grow arrogant. The soldiers have grown overly confident with themselves, and have brushed it off to other's.
I can understand what it feels like, rising from the under dog to a strong force. However, I warn you to not let the power of your militia get to you. The other night in Sanctus your soldiers shinned their words a little too much. I can understand a mild debate, but they are merely stirring up trouble.
I have never been one to interfer with your doings. I have not been one to go against your judgements. I even train many of your own soldiers. However, if your soldiers do not quickly gain respect for other cities, whether or not they distaste them, than I -will- have to interfer. They don't respond to the guards of other cities, and I fear they may soon stop responding to you.
You may write me back, although I rather see results. Again, I wish not to strike against you and your fine soldiers. If your militia isn't anymore well tamed, than I will have to aid where it is necessary.
Sincerely,
Lord Beowulf Thormear
Influential Militia Trainer
Beowulf sighed slightly while sealing the letter. He leaned back and rested in his chair.
"Respect should be given where it is due.." He whispered quietly. |

A cold wind swept out of the north, as Fong stepped out of Aegis' Regeant Shop a messenger awaited him with a sealed scroll. Fong paid the boy and sent him on his way. Unrolling the partchment he read the letter from his old friend Beo, once done he folded it and walked to the inn to pen a quick response.
Lord Beowulf,
Greetings and tidings to you from the Moonglow Town council. Semper Veritas old friend. First allow me to thank you for the assistance in trainig, it was of great help to all of us. Secondly, I agree with you the actions of the Militia were not the sort of things I like assosiated with the council. In a gesture of respect to Sanctus I had all of the members that were present scrub down the front of the hostle. Since that day we have not returned to the city state. I thank you for your concerns but I have already attended to the matter.
Sincerly
Lord Fong
Mayor Of Moonglow
Moonglow Town Council.
Fong read over the letter, sealed it and handed it to a messanger.
