Greetings,

I would like to add one last thing to our agreement. If your lands become contended by anyone for any reason, it will be my pleasure to mobilize all of the old Legion folk to defend it. I will also call upon many favors owed to me by many powerful people that are still around this realm.

Nujel'm is safe in your hands, Lady Vanya. Worry not of what others may try to do with it, and do well with your new land.

Vanya opened the letter from Vaen Swiftar, slightly uneasy about what words were enclosed. Open finished reading the letter a huge smile crossed Vanya's face and she quickly pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill.

Aaye Vaen Swiftar,

I agree upon your other terms of exchange. I assure you that I will call on you at any point I am in need. I also wish to thank you for your help and this gracious hand you have extended. If you are ever in need of anything, please send letter, for I will happily do anything that I can for you.

Namaarie.

Vanya then sent for Beriadan and had him quickly deliver the letter to Lord Swiftar. She sat in the Nujel'm Palace and looked around her, most grateful to all of those who have helped her and who still continue to help her.

After the night of intense thinking and many arguments, Lady Vanya decided this is not the life she wished to lead. A life of constant fighting and anger. So she pulled out her quill once again and began to write to Lord Swiftar.

Lord Swiftar,

It is with my greatest regret that I can not accept the deed to Nujel'm. I have given it great thought and a life of fighting is not one I wish to live. I will happily remove any claims of mine to the land. My council has advised me that this is not a decision they will stand by. I am deeply sorry. The deed is now placed back in your hand.

Namaarie mellonamin.

She quickly sent for Beriadan and he delivered the message.

Lady Vanya,

Worry not, I had a backup plan just incase this were to occur. Good luck to you and your's on whatever it is you wish to do.

Lord Fong, Mayor of Moonglow,

Greetings old friend. I have a favor to ask of you. I have not the means at the moment to actively defend a town. I fear that with news of this, people will quickly rally and try to take Nujel'm. This is why I offer it to you...

The land of Nujel'm in the Trammel Facet is your's to have, if you so wish it. If you do not accept this, then I will simply sell the land off to the highest bidder. And we would not want this bidder to be an ally of Sanctus, mm?

Your Old Friend,
Vaen

Fong casually walked the streets of moonglow, stopping every so often to say hello to a shop-keeper or citizen on the street. As he made his way inside the bank a message boy appared at his side. " Lord Fong, A letter for you sir." The boy said holding out the sealed scroll partchment. Thanking the boy he handed him a bag of gold and sent him on his way. Seeing the firmilir green wax he quickly oppend and read the letter. Nodding to himself he entered the bank and penned a response.

Greetings and Tidings To you Vaen. It has been some time since I last saw your hand writing and I must say I am suprised. I would be quite happy to accept Nu'jelm, the closest of our sister islands into the protection of the Council. I shall inform the Militia of the new addition and have them begin Patrols immediatly. Tonight I sail, Tomorrow I shall arrive on the shores of Nu'jelm. I hope the virtues have kept you safe friend.
