Devika rolled over and sighed softly then rubbed her face,her eyes slowly adjusting to the dimly lite room.Turning her head slightly she smiled as she saw Justarius sitting by the fire reading quietly,sliding from bed she slid on her robe and moved up behind him,"Justarius..,"she said as he lowered the book and turned his head to look at her,"rest well I hope?,"he asked as she nodded abit,"not as well as i would have wanted..,"she said as she sat down beside him on the floor and looked to the book,"what are you reading..?,"she asked as he looked to the book.

"Just more research..something about the ritual wasn't right...there has to be more to it than this..,"he said as she nodded her head,"did i hurt you last night?,"she asked as he looked back to her and shook his head,"no you didn't...I was more concerned with hurting you..,"he said as he stood up and moved over to the toy with the fire,"Justarius I am fine...,"she said as she stood up and moved over to stand beside him,her hand moving to rest on his arm gently.

"I do not like what you have become Devika...I must fix my wrong...,"he said as she sighed and nodded,"if you must try...I will not get in your way..,"she said as she dropped her hand and walked away to stare out the window across the Crystal Fens,"Devika I must do this...for you..for myself....but mainly for my sanity..,"he said as she turned her head and looked back to him,"then I will wait for you here...,"she said as he nodded and stepped towards her,"will you be alright alone?,"he asked as she shook her head,"I am not sure...only one way to find out really...,"she said as she rubbed her arms softly and looked down to the floor beneath her feet,"no..I will not risk losing you to this evil...come with me...,"he said as she looked up and nodded,"I will be ready within the hour...,"she said as he nodded and left the room to prepare his own things for their journey.
