Vanya returned to her quarters in the Nujel'm palace, falling to the foot of her bed, grasping her side in pain. Not only an hour earlier a Humanis, calling himself Aranudar, threw himself at the mercy of fate and bombed the Nujel'm Festival.

In this act, many were injured, including the Lord Regent. After the insane humanis threw himself into the crowd, setting off explosives.

Not long after his spirit was unable to be reached for further questions, Vanya returned to the palace, only to be met by Ceinwyn and an anonymous man. She was quick to answer Ceinwyn and rid Nujel'm of her unpleasant presence. Next she had to deal with the mystery man, that called himself "the people, the voice of Nujel'm".

He warned her to mind the people of Nujel'm. She thought to herself, Of course I will mind the people of Nujel'm I am merely a guardian of this city. She managed to get through the conversation and make her way down the hallway.

Once into her bedroom she collapsed onto the floor. She bandaged the open gash on her arm and then begin the healing process on her ribs.

What she hoped would be a night for all to enjoy, ended in injury and pain. She could only wonder what would come next.
