Zeth awoke to the sound of shouting coming from down stairs. He looked over Dae was still fast asleep, the screams had not awoken her yet. Zeth threw on some pants and took the teleporter to the main level of the wolfs den. As he started down the stairs to the first floor he could she shadows moving by the door. As he got to the bottom of the Stairs the sight that met him kind of made him laugh.
Kasshy had a man twice her size backed against the iron doors of the Wolfs den. her dagger not at his throat but held low. It appeared to Zeth that the man was now standing on his tip toes.
Kasshy growled at the man "You will leave any messages for my master with me or you will leave here without some very important body parts!" she must have made her point clean as to what body parts because in a high pitched squeal the messenger screamed " Fine take it just move that dagger, two gold coins isnt worth this!" then he dropped the box he held.
Zeth cleared his throat, Kasshy flinched. and the messengers eyes widden. Then a look of horror ran across his face. Kasshy looked back at Zeth then down to the floor where a puddle of blood started to pool as it ran down the mans leg. "oh dear." the messenger said as his eyes rolled back in his head and he passed out sliding down the wall and hitting the floor.
"Kasshy did you kill him?" Zeth ask looking at the messenger.
"No I just nicked him a little." she said wiping her dagger on her night shirt. "He said he was sent by your father to deleiver this message." She pointed to a box now laying on the floor.
Zeth picked up the box and looked at it, it was sealed with wax which held his fathers mark on it. Tucking the box under his arm he turned to go back up the stairs. then stopped, "Kasshy, you need to get him to umbra to a healer before he bleeds out."
She looked back at him then grabbed the mans feet and drug him out the door smearing blood alone the floor as she went. when the man was clear of the door Kasshy stepped back in, closed the door. looked at Zeth "I have a floor to clean first." with that she disappeared around the corner. Zeth heard her say as she went for here cleaning bucket "It is just a little nick and he didnt need them anyway ugly fool."
Zeth walked back upstairs and stepped on the teleaported but instead of his bed room he stepped across the hall to his study. he closed the door and fumbled around until he got a candle lit. He then placed the box on his desk and lit a couple more candles. He carefully openned the box. Peeking inside he saw a smaller box with a scroll on top of it. He took the box out and removed the scroll. It was also sealed with his fathers seal in wax. Zeth unrolled it carefully and held it to the light, He began to read.

Dear Son

I hope this finds you in good health. I wish things between us would allow me to do this in person, but considering our last meeting. I feel it better we not meet face to face. I have talked to the sheriff of cove and the warrant for your arrest, for the murder of my wife and the assault on me have been resended.
I consider the matter of your inheritance to be settled seeing as you cleaned out all of the MelGair gold on your last visit home.
Zeth by now You know the truth about, well lets just say I consider you my son I gave you my last name. And I tried to be a father to you. I hope you will forgive my short comings in that area. You see I loved your mother deeply more than anything in the world. when you were born, I reliezed that I wasnt the love of her life anymore that I had been replaced by a baby. That is why I took to traveling like I did. When your mother was killed by the orcs. I resended you because she gave up her life to protect yours. I also resented myself because I was not there to protect you both.
Zeth in that first year of your life I was a lonely Man and I did alot of traveling. I did somethings that I am not proud of. And I have regerts. I am getting old Zeth and it is time that I clear the air with all my children.
In the little box is a letter I want you to read it. There is a second part to this letter in the bottom of this box it will help you in what you must do.

Zeth sat the letter down on the table he stared at the little box for the longest time. before he could bring himself to open it. In the box was a old folded letter that was faded and torn. Zeth had to hold it close to the candle to even make out the words the ink was fadded so badly.

My Dearest Zethmorn

I write this not so that you feel any guilt what so ever. But it has been almost two years now since I have seen you. I do miss the times we spent together drinking and laughing and well the other things to.
Zethmorn I have fallen ill and I fear that I do not have much time left here in this world. I want you to know that the last month we spent together made me a very happy woman. It also left me with something to remember you by for always. Zeth I have had a baby girl. Yes and you are her father. I wasnt going to tell you this because I knew of your wife and son back home. But now I have no choice. Zethmorn I know that I am dyeing and nothing can change that. I have tried to make my way to britian, but my health has gotten to the point where I can not continue. I have stopped at the brigand camp to the north of britiana I have friends here. and then have given me there word that they will take care of my daughter until you arrive.
Zethmorn I beg you come and get your little girl her name is Toni and she has the blondest hair just like yours. she has your eyes and well there is no doubt she is your child. Please come.
Yours truely
Tracey the Huntress

Zeth read the letter again set it back in the box and placed the box on his bookshelve. he stared up and the reflections the candles made on the ceiling for the longest time. So I have a sister
