Curious patterns of shadow
Fall in asymetrical designs
Across tha’ sultry sleeping
Form o’ me gentle lover.

I sit at tha’ bedside an’
Watch as tha’ morning sun
Caresses her wi’ a passion
Tha’ seems ta’ diminish mine.

She sleeps no knowin’ tha’
Fragile bond tha’ keeps me
Here at her side during all
Strife an’ burning words.

Tha’ bond is as thin as rice-paper
An’ can be torn as easily
Like all things tha’ are
Forged from twa’ carin’ hearts.

Could she ever do me an
Injury tha’ would be so
Grave tha’ I could no turn
Me opposite cheek ta’ her?

Will she grow weary o’
Wakin’ ta’ see me scribblin’
Away in futile attempts ta’
Find lost avenues o’ expression?

Small beads o’ perspiration
Are elegantly accentin’
Her body which has always
Given rise ta’ a fiery muse.

Soon, she will awaken an’
See tha’ once again I have
Sat here through tha’ night
Watching her wi’ me heart.

I wi’ ne’er tire o’ seein’
Her whether she is in
Tha’ realm o’ Morpheus o’,
Here fore’er at me side.

For no matter wha’ happens
We are forever coupled in
A union o’ grand destiny
An’ together we are complete.

E’en now she awakens an’
Wi’ a glimpse tells me all
I e’er need an’ relieves
Me o’ any doomin’ onus.

I gracefully take her in
Me arms an’ let me pen
Fall ta’ tha’ side forgotten
Like a chastity belt key.

Usin’ her body as me slate
I write all tha’ epic novels
An’ compose me life upon
Her wi’ mythic prose.
