How am I supposed to get any of my work completed with all of these interruptions from these pathetic Sanctan witchhunts?

The globe of Sosaria spun, bringing the city of Sanctus into view. She stared down at it in concentration. Lifting her porcelain likeness of Talon Skyfire, she considered.

I've never wanted that miserable city. But this constant interference is really beginning to piss me off.

She had known from the beginning that there would be necessary stepping stones to her goal. The path would have to be cleared for ends to be met. Sanctus had not been a part of the initial plan, only Luna. But the king had seen fit to interfere. So now it was Sanctus... Luna.. and eventually, finally, Trinsic. The true city of Paladins.

The globe rotated to bring Trinsic into her view.

Your time will come, people of Trinsic.

It almost amused her that she had acquired the enemies of the worshipers of Oblivion, even if the accrued hatred was misled. The too proud M'reals had at first come seeking vengeance against Umbra for crimes done to their family by the followers of Oblivion. The blame had fallen on Ceinwyn's shoulders, no matter how many times she had tried to explain to the barbaric morons that Oblivion was not worshipped, not even allowed worship, in Umbra. They didn't care. They simply wanted war, someone to bring a sword against.

Oh how very like us they are, and yet hate us and do attack us for the very thing that makes us alike...

Such irony was art. Unfortunately for Sanctus, it was not the kind of art she preferred to collect. The line of sight to her goal had been obstructed by the king of Sanctus, and that made him a target, as well. She tightened her grip on the porcelain replica of the king in her hand. The small effigy ruptured into grainy bits.

Your days are numbered, Talon Skyfire
