It was a beautiful painting, and she stared upon it smiling. This is why they had not married, this is why the children had been so important to her.
She did not wish to repress him or tie him to her, she wished and always had, only to love him. So she set him free, the Drow Male, as he wandered the world with her young son.
She hoped at times he would look at Kaleb's blue hair and think of her. One day when Keldril was ready he would return if only for a brief time and she would get a dose of happiness to keep her going.
She had been so busy and WIT had consumed her she was thankful for that. Yet the pang in her heart softly resided reminding her of Keldril, and everytime she looked at Kelei's hair or Korin's eyes she longed a bit for him. Yet she kept it all hidden, really, she was made of strong stuff. No one must know.....
